I post a lot on bluesky of bits and pieces of my upcoming and current projects. Since they are coming into fruition soon (or already deep in progress), I thought I'd do an update here to recap.

Main ongoing comic: Glimmer. Fantasy isekai/romance/existentialst dread comic. Basically "what if you died and got reincarnated into your DnD campaign". Short comic in progress: Susurrus. Scifi comic about an interstellar radio tower warden on an abandoned planet. Shorter than Glimmer but still substantial. Black and white standard comic format. Starts posting on Patreon in early August and ComicFury in Sept... considering posting here but don't wanna confuse people. Eventually will be printed as a 150-ish-page graphic novel. Novel: The Stygian Trade. Fantasy novel with illustrations. Two Katri (catlike) women who have both lost themselves--by trading memory for youth--uncover the truth behind a society built on forgetting. Working on illustrations and halfway through the first draft. I have a prologue preview on patreon but otherwise I want to finish the book before posting anything publicly. I know that Tumblr limits files sizes, but if there was a way to work around the issue (like increasing the resolution but decreasing the dimensions of the image) I think your promotional posts would attract more people to your comic!

okay so when i load these images, they are high res, then they turn into low res potatoes, then once they post, I see them as high res again. i am literally looking at a hi res version of the most recent post right now.

i really, really, really do not have the time or energy to go through every post and re-upload with a cropped single panel. i guess that's what i'll be doing in future posts, though.

apologies to everyone/anyone who sees just shit-ass fucking potato jpegs on my feed.

teaser + name reveal for my summer project: SUSURRUS

inspired by elements of the films 'moon' and 'interstellar' and the soft decay of 'yokohama kaidashi kikou'.

'susurrus' is a scifi comic that revolves around whisper, a lone warden of extraplanetary radio towers on an abandoned planet learning that you have to find your own reason to keep going, even when you get left behind.

i developed whisper after cutting off a toxic parent and then my other parents and siblings moved to the other side of the continent, leaving me with a desperate sense of aloneness only exacerbated by the quarantines of 2020. writing whisper's story was my way of finding hope and peace in that solitude.
