“I like your dash, are you sure I can’t guest star more often?”

“I’m not sure.. I normally went on missions, then in between I would come here to watch the sunset with my friends then head back to where I use to call home.” That was what she use to do, now it was just trying to keep herself hidden or protect people from the heartless. Looking up at the tower, she pointed at the ledge with a soft smile “ That’s where we sat, we could see the whole town too..”

Her left hand switched a bit, it also the last place she fought as well, there was a slight sigh before looking at the brunette with a bit of worry “…this was also where I um..”

“You’re okay. That’s in the past. Just keep focusing on the good. It helps, trust me.” He knew from experience, though he also knew it was hard. Hoping it would help he squeezed the hand he was holding gently. After he looked up, giving a low appreciative whistle at the height.

“And you know how I feel, and you ask anyway I can't always let you know; my words are weak”

Whispered quietly to himself, he definitely like this band. Though it’s making it hard not to fall asleep...

Miyuki at first blushed pink at the wink and salute but she smiled as he accepted her request. “That’s alright. I don’t think I’m too good myself. Where shall we duel? I have my deck and disk with me already so I’m alright to go anywhere.” she said, smiling brightly and full of excitement.

“Well why not right now?” Not that he was rushing Miyuki, but there really wasn’t any knowing how long he would be stable enough to duel. He was perfectly fine emotionally right now. Why waste that?

Miyuki had started to climb the tree when she saw Jaden playing with the hanging vines. She climbed up and propped herself on a low branch to watch. Her ears flicked once and awhile and she trilled again with a giggle as he fell over before hopping down to his side.

“Oh um, well I was just wondering if this tree is one you would like to climb. The vines do look fun to play with though. Are you alright?” she asked, plopping down in front of him.

“I think I’m okay. A bit awkward because I didn’t mean to get buried in the stuff... But it was actually really fun? Man, I think I understand why Pharaoh swats things with his paws. It feels great when you have your claws in it and you gotta just... I can’t even explain it, it’s something you just gotta try!”

Kuro could sense how his story had seemed to get to the other, frowning softly. He felt like there was probably more to this ‘gentle darkness’, ‘light of destruction’ stuff than the other was letting on, but… well, he wasn’t going to force out details.

“Sora and his friends are at least slowly learning that not all darkness is bad. Sora’s friend Riku let his heart be enveloped by the Darkness once, and from what Sora said they never really got over the guilt of it for a while. But while he doesn’t us the powers, he’s accepted that his darkness is a part of him.”

“And Sora…. well, when we first met, he was a little freaked out. But luckily he saw that I wasn’t just a creature made of darkness and… well, here I am. I’m not exactly able to travel to other worlds on my own, but I don’t really mind that. I like traveling with Sora. Even if he doesn’t really understand the powers of darkness, he’s been so nice to me…”

“It’s probably a good thing about this learning to duel stuff. If there’s no bad darkness here, Sora can just use this as time to take a break from traveling around and saving the worlds and just have a bit of fun… He doesn’t show it, but I can’t help but feel like the pressure of all this hero stuff gets to him sometimes…”

“I can relate.”

It came out before he could stop himself. Jaden had to pause then and there, wondering if he had said too much. They were only three words, but he couldn’t afford to look like he was weak in any way. His guard had dropped and he wasn’t sure why-

‘Because he’s a child of darkness like you are.’

Oh. Yubel had a point there. He composed himself as best as he could, smiling in a way that wasn’t entirely forced.

“You know, if you want to go to places yourself, I can teach you. I’m still learning, granted, but I know enough to go to worlds nearby if there’s already a faint path to them.” He understood that Kuro liked traveling with Sora. He himself enjoyed the company of Pharaoh and Banner when he traveled. And of course the company of Yubel. But he knew that going somewhere yourself was sometimes just the satisfaction one needed.

Fun. Right. He’d gotten so side tracked by his slip up he’d forgotten the part about Sora dueling for fun. He wasn’t sure how to comment. He kept forgetting about the concept of dueling and fun being in the same sentence. Luckily he did have Yugi to help remind him of that.
