Sphinx's OC Muses! - Indefinite Hiatus!

I thought hard on this and I just can’t seem to find the motivation or energy to really rp here anymore. With my son getting older, I simply just don’t have time. I’m not going to delete the blog, simply archive it in case I need to get something from here or decide to change my mind.

I had a lot of fun for the long time I’ve been roleplaying here. I knew as I started slowing down and just not feeling replies that it was probably a good time to call it quits. No idea if I’ll come back but I’ll always remember the fun times I had. :D

“Very good try. But let’s see them try and stop this—”

“Power belongs to those that take it, but that’s the easy part. KEEPING it takes blood and death, paid in buckets.”

“He/She is dead. I am the leader now. Swear fealty or you will join them.”

“Go and criticize me, you know you wish you had my power. But you can’t have it, and it KILLS you. Rather… I will.”

“All those that don’t bow to me will be put in chains!”

“Kill them all! Burn everything to the ground! Leave NOTHING behind!”

“I don’t want power or money. I just want to destroy things. Just because.”

Iyumi froze and gawked when he mentioned a wife..and that the wife was Lavinia. It made her pout and bite her lip. Though they were open to multiple partners, Iyumi wanted him and him only.

Miyuki was just happy to see that Nicol was fine. “I’m just glad everything went okay. We should get out of here soon though before any more trouble shows up.” she replied and turned to the two demons, “What will you two do now?”

At being asked about what they would do now, Lavinia smiled softly at Miyuki. “I’m not sure, honestly. I mean, we were summoned by someone else, but we could just head back to the demon realm where we came from. Or stick around this area for a bit.”

“Don’t worry, we won’t cause much trouble.” A chuckle left Felix at that. “We’ll be good~”

“We could give you a tour, maybe?” Catarina offered with a sheepish grin. “I mean, you both defeated Azami. You seem like nice people…even if you are demons…”

“Oooh, sure! That would be fun!”

Aiko was glad for the rest but was also excited to try our her new rod. She turned to the dummies with a grin. “I couldn’t possibly aim at you. What if I hurt you? Dummies and moving targets should work just fine.” she replied and concentrated, remembering how the store keeper made it work and tried to copy their movements.

“I’m much sturdier than I look, I assure you.” Therius managed, but he relented on letting her just focus on dummies and moving targets - this time, at least. 

As Aiko focused and concetrated, the magical rod shot out fire first, then wind. One of the targets was immediately knocked over, another just setting on fire…and still remaining on fire. Thankfully, a watery shot that emerged from the rod doused the fire before it could spread anywhere. 

Kyana covered her head as spikes flew, glancing up afterwards to make sure everyone else was safe. When she saw it fell on his back, she rushed in. “Got it!” she exclaimed and drew her sword covered in flames, aiming for the weak point they had mentioned earlier.

The Muruk roared in pain as Kyana’s flaming sword hit its belly, and it literally, well…lit it on fire, spreading across its midsection to burn more of its flesh. Asthar managed to get a good stab in, but quickly retreated as the Muruk started flailing a bit on the spot, clearly not expecting the flames to spread.

“I think that sword might’ve been a bit more powerful than we thought.” Mirania managed.

“You can say that again!” Asthar ducked behind some larger debris. “Take cover!”

“O-Okay…”

“Really? You wouldn’t mind?”

Chiyumi grew increasingly worried for the Alakazam. She had no idea that what was happening to him was so dire. “Is there anything we can do to help Professor? I feel so sad for the poor Pokemon.” she asked with a concerned expression.

“Well, befriending it would be helpful.” Rowan managed, hoping to try to help Chiyumi stay calm. “And if it grows fond of you, that power of friendship might be able to overpower the dark crystals it ate…”
