âJust come with me,â she said, beginning the walk to the throne room and then to the royal apartments. It would be safer there, more security, more faces that she could trust. More and more, with every new attempt by the people who met in that cavern, she was fearing for her life. She had no evidence to suggest it was those people, it was just a feeling, a ridiculously strong feeling.
She walked briskly down a hall and out of the view of the new visiting aristocrats, expecting that Marco follow. âHow did you get separated from the tour group?â she asked, mostly to have some form of conversation going on, to fill the silence, the hallways here were toâŚcavernous for silence.
He nodded and followed her in silence, admiring the palace. Marco kept his eye on the people passing them -- only a few offered the group strange looks, which was relieving. As they walked, he shoved his hands in his pockets self-consciously. He raised his head as she addressed him. âI had to go to the bathroom, and I told the supervisor, but I guess he forgot? I donât know. When I came back out, the group was gone.â
robin-youworrytoomuch-hood:
âOh, it wonât, believe me. Maybe by the time you graduate itâll stop being weird.â He smirked. âHave we officially met yet? Iâm Robin.â
âWhat year are you?â Marco looked at his classmate curiously. âUm, I guess we havenât. Iâm Marco. Itâs nice to meet you.â
robin-youworrytoomuch-hood:
Robin nodded slowly. âYeah, I missed it to. Bloody Rat, ruining bloody everything.â He murmured the last part to himself. Sighing, he looked back at him. âThatâs what it seems like at first. But then again, maybe thatâs a good thing, always having something to find new again.â
âI mean, I hope it all gets less weird. But, I donât think that will happen for awhile.â
Ok, whoâs cat?
wise-wolf-denahi:
âI didnât say you were.â
âI know. I just wanted to clear the water.â

She didnât like it when people called her princessâŚor rather, she didnât mind it when people from the castle did, but people at school. âOrâŚI know, I have a better idea,â she suggested, âwe can go into town, if you give me a moment to go get changedâŚâ
she glanced around at the faces of the nobles, her facade was crackling a bit, having been called princess by himâŚwell it had thrown her. Her power only existed because they believed she was powerful. That was how political power worked, if she kept this up, what protection she could offer Marco would be more or less gone. âWeâll visit the throne room on the way of courseâŚâ
âYeah, I mean... If that helps or makes it easier. Iâm fine with waiting.â Marco gave her a thumbs up, but found himself glancing around. He was more than a little paranoid, but he didnât want to admit it. What if someone was listening? Hearing that might make someone jump on the opportunity. Was it in his head, or did she seem slightly nervous as well? He furrowed his brow. Was him being lost really that dangerous around here? Were these upper-class wizards that powerful? Could they do something to an innocent teenager? Were they planning on doing something to Roza herself? He didnât like the feeling he had in his gut.
robin-youworrytoomuch-hood:
Robin nodded. âHey, mate, on the plus side, you came at a pretty dull time. Completely missed all the drama from last year, war included.â He subconsciously began picking at the binding of a book. âOver time, though, when thereâs not much going on in the school, it kind of gets boring, really. You get used to all the magical stuff.â
âWith all respect to the dead, Iâm glad I missed it.â He sighed, resting his elbow on the table and his head on his hand. âIâm not sure Iâll ever get used to all of this.â
Ok, whoâs cat?
wise-wolf-denahi:
âI suppose thatâs understandable.â
âI mean, Iâm not scared of cats.â
ravenclawthalia:
She let out a sigh of relief once she reached the library. It was always a calming place for her⌠a place where should wouldnât be stared at and whispered about. Thalia started on her way to her usual table, but paused when she passed by a vaguely familiar boy who seemed to be nearly asleep. âThey donât like it much if you nap in here,â she murmured to him, lightly touching his shoulder.
The teen roused slowly, looking up at the other girl. âOh.... Gracias...â He sat up, looking over his homework. It wasnât even close to finished. âIâve been working on this all weekend, and Iâm not even close to being.â

She laughed softly, raising her hand to cover her mouth as she had been taught to do by her grandmother. It was a movement meant to make a person appear more demure, something she wouldnât have bothered with as RozalieâŚbut here she was Rampion and Rampion was a princess. Mostly, she felt as though she were playing a role, not being herself. Perhaps that would change, âthe discussions have already started, we canât go in now, interrupting like that would be improper, even if youâre with me,â she said, holding her hands in front of her, standing very straight. Being Rampion was exhausting.
âI can take you on a tour of the palace,â she suggested, âat the very least youâll be able to get something out of the trip while we wait for the break,â she checked a pocket watch, âwe have about an hour to killâŚâ She pondered, where would be the best place to take him, the most informative⌠âWe could go to the throne room perhapsâŚâ
Marco couldnât help but feel a little intimidated by her proper demeanor, but he tried his best not to let it show. Did he treat her like Rozalie or Rampion here? Were they still friends? Or was it some weird obligation thing as a princess? He wasnât sure. âSorry if I made you miss it...â The teen rubbed his arm awkwardly, looking away for a moment.
âA tour? I mean... Is that allowed? I mean, I donât want to get you in any more trouble?â Why wouldnât it be allowed? Youâre being dumb, Diaz. âI mean, Iâd be more than happy to join you, princess.â

some more Storm The Castle gemsÂ

rozalierapunzel:
Sunlight filled the courtyard, spilling into the covered walkway where Rozalie was standing. Her father and her had arranged with the headmistress to allow a small number of students to visit the city state of Montsolei to view the proceedings of a diplomatic event as a school trip. It was bound to be quite informative, most of the students in attendance were interested in magical politics . The rest who were invited were the new muggle wizards and witches and they were bound to find the whole thing enlighteningâŚor terribly confusing. Rozalie had to admit, she wasnât sure what her fatherâs game was on this particular decision. Sometimes he did things purely for the sake of being inclusive.
Her gaze was fixed on the water fountain and the gardens beyond and surrounding. She sighed, she was wasting time, she should go meet up with the other students. She walked down the walkway, the long skirt of her dress swishing as she did, under some hanging plants and into the castle, a few hallways away from the main courtyard and the room where the delegations would be taking place. Judging by the time they had already started and all the students would be watchingâŚ
âŚall except for at least one. Her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of Marco Diaz wandering around. He looked lost and the other nobles who were not taking part in the discussions looked more than annoyed at his presence. They looked like they were considering doing something about it and that was the last thing that Roza wanted. âOh Marco!â she said pleasantly, making a show of her approach, âI didnât know you were going on the tripâŚâ She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, her hand brushing against the tiara she wore for these sorts of events. A subtle way to point out her rank, a trick her mother had taught her.
Of course he had gotten lost. Why wouldnât he? All he came here to do was to learn a little bit more about wizarding politics, and he was missing the reason he came. Marco pinched the bridge of his nose, mumbling under his breath. The politicians and nobility here were less than helpful with their venomous gazes and snide remarks. Why was no one willing to help a kid out? Obviously, he was here for school, hence his uniform. How could they even tell his blood status? Was there some innate thing that purebloods/royalty had? Did he smell different? Sure, it was probably a little uncommon for people to get lost, but it was his first time here. What the hell did they expect? He threw his arms up quickly in frustration.
As he tried to navigate, he couldnât help the sensation of being watched or followed. Then again, this was commonplace now, considering his pursuer. Marco turned his head, noticing a small group of men meandering closer to him. His heart race increased tenfold, and he picked up his pace. Surely someone wouldnât attack him in broad daylight? At a diplomatic event? Still, he didnât know this culture well. He couldnât say what theyâd do to him. They might not even be following him. They could just be walking around. But, from what he saw, they were pretty trained on him, not each other. Generally, people talked to one another. Unless wizards were different? Marco tried desperately to think of anything to calm himself, but found that these thoughts were few and far between.
Just when he thought all hope was lost, he heard a pleasantly familiar voice. Marco turned in the direction, a smile growing on his features as his friend approached. Right, this was her country. Or, her parentsâ. A wave of comfort washed over him as the men tailing him stopped. They seemed more than a little disappointed, but, the teen hoped it was just a trick of the light. âRozalie! Oh, Iâm glad to see you. Iâve been trying to find someone or someplace familiar for awhile now.â He offered a small, embarrassed smile. She seemed different in the crown, though he wondered if that was just his mind playing tricks on him. If so, it was doing that a lot.
Look down // Dash and Marco
the-dashlikes:
Dash looked up at Marco surprised he had flipped him, the pain shot through his back, but it wasnât anything to stop Dash. From the ground Dashâs blood only boiled more. Charging for Marcoâs legs, Dash tackled him to the ground pinning him down, His fists flying at the boy before he could think. âYOU FUCKING LITTLE SHIT. YOUâRE GOING TO FUCKING REGRET THIS.â
ravenclawthalia:
âOh for the love of MerlinâŚâ With a huffed sigh, Thalia rolled her eyes and made her way to the portrait hole. The common room had been deceptively quiet, until she went down to observe what looked like pairs studying, but what was thinly veiled public affection. Nothing she wanted to be around. So she pushed out into the hall, determined to get to the library to make use of the last few hours of the weekend. Getting ahead in the beginning of the year would only be a benefit in the long run.
Marco sat quietly in the library, nearly falling asleep as he tried to finish the weekendâs homework. Heâd been working since Saturday afternoon with only a few hours nap in between. Even then, he almost missed practice earlier. The boy was exhausted with his first few days of school. How was he going to fare in a few months? The thought terrified him, but he had to press forward.

âJohn.â Â He sat up, assuming that he might as well considering it sounded that he was about to have to do actual work. Â He didnât like dealing with the studentsâit was too awkward. Â They really werenât that much younger than he was, for the most part. Â And heâd never been particularly adept at dealing with people in the first place. Â âWhat were you going to ask, then? Â Or were you just going to loiter?â
âJohn. Yeah. Sorry.â He tugged at his earlobe. âI um... Just wanted a bit of help with my homework, thatâs all.â
Okay, so...
nyxvasquez:
âYeah like something that youâve never had.â She looked at the menu, âwhat about enchanted jellied eels?âÂ
âEnchanted jellied eels? Why are they enchanted? Why are they jellied? Why are they eels?â
