Dr phantasmo doesn't remember his former life and his wife,but his daughter viola was with him since he was alive so.. it might be possible that she still remembers his former life and what had happened before he died from overdose of chemicals and turn into a ghost. Doc lost his memories but viola can tell him , or perhaps she already did ?

One thing I still wonder is where did viola come from, like she wasn't human when phanta was alive ,maybe she died as an infant that came back as a little ghost but idk,she looks different from her siblings/other pink ghosts.
