Goodmorning to the Anthropic Claude AI training scraper that suddenly decided to request 660 thousand pages (exactly the number I had remaining on the starter plan) and brought Pikiwedia down.

Sudden switch from diverse user agents like chrome, safari, messenger preview to Just Claudebot. I'm not even mad though, this is maybe the funniest thing possible, because I've inadvertently poisoned their training data with thousands of fucked up articles with normal urls.

Pikiwedia perseveres, back up with a better robots.txt. I hope Anthropic has a gery vood time with Pikiwedia's data :))

visual artists: when you have an idea for something, does it appear in your mind as the finished product, the steps you'll have to take, a sentence, or something else?

finished thing (i saw an image of an apple in my head so that's what i'll draw)

steps (if i draw an apple, i'll draw a circle as a guide first, then...)

sentence (i should draw an apple being picked from a tree)

a combination of these (tell me in the tags!!)

i have aphantasia (i can't see images in my brain) so i just like hearing how other people visualize ideas LOL also hopefully the examples i wrote make sense it's kind of hard to put into words but ehhhh

#like a really vague image overall of a general idea #where none of the details are really defined at all unless a detail is like one of the specific inspiration points #it's kinda like seeing something through fogged up glass or through a fine mesh screen where you have to concentrate harder to see through #and you can't really have everything in focus at once #and there's like a general sort of shape overall but you're kind of interpreting it almost like picking out shapes in clouds #so a lot of my drawing process ends up just being kind of feeling it out until things click into place
