I last seen her on 22 July 2014..the day before I flew out. We laughed and talked. She pointed out some pictures of us taped to her mirror and smiled. "Look. There's Jay over there as a baby." I smiled. She didn't forget. It was time for me to go. She took me in as her own when we first met in 2000. Same smile. Same love. I hugged her even tighter this time as she asked when I was coming back. "Soon." That's all I knew. "I love you...see you soon." She said "Love you too.
