Prompt #6

"This is gonna make me sound like a workaholic but.. In my lab I have these machines that help me distill alcohol. The whirring of them working is very soothing to me.. so much so that sometimes when I'm having a hard time sleeping in my home-- I'll sneak over to the lab and sleep there.. I got a cot and everything because I do it so often. That place is a second home in more ways than one."

Prompt #7

"Definitely hitting up the rides and games first! No particular order, just whatever catches my eye as I'm doing a walkthrough to get a lay of the land and an idea of where everything is so I can hit it all strategically. Food breaks as needed, and absolutely taking home a dessert for the ride back home at the end!"

"Before my Uncle took me in, I was.. admittedly, a trouble child. The rough environments I was in certainly didn't help, but I was a trouble child nonetheless. So I wasn't used to hearing praise thrown my way-- just scolding and generally negative words thrown my way.

"Ahh, it's not exactly a dream thing.. more of a goal? My dream is the dream my predecessor, Professor Hazelwood, had. He dreamed of a world were his research allows other people to eat products made from Pokemon without judgement from others. Knowledge is power, as some would say."

Prompt #2

"I honestly never expected myself to have two bug types on my team. Not that I hate the type or anything. If I'm out in the field and a little Spinerak or a Joltik takes interest in me and start crawling on me-- I don't scream or freak out. I find them interesting and I was open to the idea of owning such a Pokémon at some point.. but I didn't think I would have two.

There's my blue Shuckle which I inherited from my Uncle after he passed along with his other team members. That was to be expected, they were practically mine in spirit anyways.. but Skorupi was a surpise for me.

Skorupi was a rescue situation, I won't go into details as it'd take up too much of your time. But.. it was rough. I couldn't leave her behind, Skorupi didn't deserve to be in the situation she was in, and I'm happy to have saved her.

Both of these bug types I'm happy with, I'm hoping I can give them a full life as my partners."

Prompt #3

"This might be a bit of a cop-out, but I'm gonna have to say Wailord. Aside from their sheer size that would be a problem for me to provide proper care for it. I'm also not particularly big on water and surfing, so I can't even justify keeping one to be able to surf around on. I'd rather take a ferry or other means of crossing the ocean.

But for a more obscure pick.. I have a hard time looking at Galarian Slowkings. I respect them as one of the wonderful Pokemon we are blessed to walk this earth with.. but I just couldn't do it. I can't tell you more than that."

Ichisada seemed visibly uncomfortable as she recalls Galarian Slowking. What could've happened that she's not revealing?

Prompt #4

"That's easy. Earning my degree to earn my status as a professor. I had a rough upbringing. Back then, I thought there was nothing out there for me. That I'd never amount to anything, and I'd be left to rot and die in a gutter one day.. my Uncle saved me from that. He showed me that I was worth something, and that I could have meaning in my life, and that I was smart.

When he died, there was something in me that wanted to lay down in that gutter and die like I was meant too, but I also knew that my Uncle would haunt me forever if I did. So I picked myself up, dusted myself off and studied my ass off for years so I could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him. I always go back and forth on if ghosts exist.. but I hope my Uncle, wherever he ended up, was smiling at me as I took my degree in my hands."

Prompt #5

"I definitely have held onto some mementos of my Uncle's as I was going through his estate, and I'm also planning on keeping my Shuckle's blue shell when it eventually passes away-- as much as I hate to put that out into the world-- Those are pretty sentimental for me.
