me realizing my experiences with sewing have been a lie this whole goddamn time:

1) just because he says he likes you, doesn’t mean you’re obligated to like him back. 2) one day you’ll stop being scared of them. 3) save up your damn money, or you’ll regret it later. 4) it’s not fair to make him pay for the sins of those before him. 5) don’t be ashamed of the things that make you smile. 6) going on anti-depressants doesn’t mean you’re weak. 7) soon you’ll hardly ever think about the boy you thought you’d never be able to forget. 8) your existential crises are ruining the life you have now. 9) your self-worth doesn’t correlate to the amount of followers you have on social media. 10) don’t be afraid to try to try - draw, write, create, even if you think you’re bad at it. 11) being left on read usually just means they’re busy. 12) it isn’t your fault they don’t like who you are. don’t try to change for them. 13) the things that feel like the end of the world now typically won’t matter in a year from now. 14) don’t be mad at yourself for knowing your limitations. it’s okay to rest. 15) just because they’re your parents doesn’t mean they know best. 16) it is not romantic to be someone’s secret. 17) don’t surround yourself with bad people just to try to fight your loneliness. 18) don’t hate your laugh. it’s the sound you make when you’re so full of joy it has to bubble out. nothing could be more beautiful.
