In the second/third episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation's season one we meet new people who work in the engine room. One of these people is LCDR Sarah MacDougal. The Chief Engineer.

I would like to think the reason we no longer see Sarah MacDougal again is because she put in for a transfer. She saw everything that had happened (including what happened with Q in the previous episode(s)) and just noped right out of there. She was probably thinking that stuff like this doesn't happen on other starships.

After the second season finale of Star Trek: Picard I felt compelled to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation again.

Encounter at Farpoint pulls out all the stops and is exactly what I want in a pilot episode. We get a brand-new Enterprise with a brand-new crew. It was heralded in by a crotchety and long-lived Doctor Adm. Lenard "Bones" McCoy.

We get to meet the newest captain of the Enterprise, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his first office Commander William Riker.

The episode also introduces "Q" as the god-like alien.

I don’t know if this is on here some place, but Bucky’s hair.  It took him 78 years to cut it.  I’m certain that Hydra didn’t let him cut it. He didn’t cut it in Wakanda, because it’s hard to cut your hair when you only have one arm.
