Self indulgent thing that ironically no one will reblog from me. I know many many people not just myself deal with this. tHINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN ON THE TOPIC OF ART AND ESPECIALLY OC ART!!!!!! No one can see your likes. The artist might just assume you thought it wasn’t good enough to be put onto your blog. It won’t hurt your fandom aesthetic or whatever. Your anime waifu is just a successful persons OC. If you like it, reblog it too. Think of all the things you wish were represented in your fandoms. That character you wish you could see, that plot you wish had been written, those homosexual canon lead characters you all want to have, they might have already been created by someone who can’t get people to look at their art, because no one will reblog it and help them be seen. This is TUMBLR!!! WE ARE PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT KINDS OF THINGS PEOPLE WANT AS REPRESENTATION!! WE ARE PEOPLE CREATING AROMANTIC ASEXUAL POC DRAGON SLAYING 6FT VAMPIRE WARRIOR QUEENS IN SPACE AND SO MANY MORE THINGS YOU ALL KEEP POSTING ABOUT WANTING!!!!! Please support Original content creators as much as fanart creators.

Also: guilt-tripping is not the way to attract more people to your art. Of course it hurts when your stuff doesn’t garner as much attention, but telling people “it won’t hurt your aesthetic if you reblog” is immature & desperate. Attract people to your art based on its own merit, not because of an emotional ploy.
