why do middle aged women get so pissed when they have to wait in line for more than 3 minutes??? we were short staff yesterday at work because of the snow, a lot of people couldn’t make it in. we were doing our best at keeping things moving fast pace but it was hard because we were so busy and short 4 employees. I was on register and i had a line with like 13 people in it and I was moving as quickly as possible and this hag (who was next in line, so idk why she was bitching as if she was behind 40 people) turned around to me and was like “IS THERE ANYONE ELSE WHO CAN RING ME OUT? THIS IS RIDICULOUS” keep in mind she has only been in line for like 3 or 4 minutes, tops. and i was like “sorry ma’am, we’re short staff and everyone is currently with a customer. i’ll be with you as soon as possible.” and she’s like “pssht, yeah, sure. okay.” and then proceeded to stomp her feet, tap her foot and roll her eyes. like bitch what do you want me to do? lmao. meanwhile, all of the young people in line were like “don’t worry about it! it’s not your fault! take your time!” i saw a tweet the other day that said middle aged women act as if it’s the end of the world when they have to wait in line and i’ve never seen anything more accurate. why do they get like that when they have to wait in line for more than 1 minute??? lmao it happens to me every single day. like bitch, u don’t get special treatment. you have to wait in line just like every other fucking person!! i’m not gonna pull you to the front of the line just because you’re impatient and don’t feel like waiting. get over urself. and it’s even worse when it’s rich snooty women. they pull up in their g-wagon and are dripping in designer clothing, and then when they have to wait in line they make little comments like “god. and you people want minimum wage raised? psht. i could buy this company in cash right now and run it better than these managers could.” lmao ALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO WAIT 5 MINUTES TO BE CASHED OUT. i hate people
