I think liking the insecticons made me kinder.

Before 2025 I was not that deep into bugs, nor did I care particularly about the species I'd encounter in the wild, nor if I killed those who came in my vicinity. I didn't go out of my way to kill a bug of course, but I wouldn't be too bothered if circumstances put me in the position of killing one, except if it were ladybugs, butterflies or bees.

Now I genuinely feel bad if I kill one or if someone else kills a bug, regardless of the species (unless it's you mosquitoes trying to eat my face. F you). I've become interested in entomology and I just have fun observing them, taking pictures of them and I have grown much less afraid of them, to the point I can hold them in my hand without recoiling (which really comes in handy when you spend your summer days in the countryside haha).

I guess I've become a fan :)

Before the insecticons, I was much more aloof in how I considered bugs in general. Now look at me following every bug page on instagram and starting my own bug-themed album picture alongside @mirax00.

Being more attentive to bugs also made me more attentive to animals and nature in general. And I feel deeply grateful for that.

Also, beetles don't like being photographed apparently! 😅

Life has it out for me lately. Beside the obvious limits I'm forced to deal with regarding my creative activity, and having to live allowance by allowance, I also found out all my birthday money has been stolen while I was doing INTERNSHIP IN THE FREAKIN' OPERATING ROOM.

I've looked everywhere, any spot I could have possibly left the money, but nothing. Completely disappeared. And here I though I'd be happy buying myself something nice for once. Last time I actually purchased something for myself was... March? And it was a pair of shoes.

I'm kinda tempted to make a kofi just so I can get back the amount I was stolen, but I know I'm not entitled to it in any form, especially coming from people who had nothing to do with the misdeed, but it'd really help.
