Every day away from you feels like a year or twoâŚ
âI thought you were planning to sew?â Marinette jumped at the sound of her husbandâs voice and looked up from the letter in her hand, there were several sheets in her lap and dozens of envelopes surrounding her. She met his gaze with shining eyes.
âYouâre kind perfect, you know that?â
Lukaâs face broke into his âIâm trying not to blushâ smile and asked, âWhyâs that?â
âYour love for me is so tangible, itâs impossible to doubt it. Youâve written a letter from every city you've ever been to,â Marinette glanced around at the paper envelopes, âIâm literally surrounded by your love."
Luka bent to kiss her upturned face, âAnd you always will be.â

The mockery of his laugh had always made her want to punch Griffe in the face, but now the thought wasn't even crossing her mind. The teasing tone in his voice and smugness of his grin had faded, his cocky attitude dissolving into something more genuine. Was that what his real laugh sounded like? Was that what his real smile looked like?
This takes place immediately after the end of the Paris Special so there are spoilers!
Saw the special. Had a cry over the blorbos. Bon appĂŠtit.
She had always thought to herself, time and time again, that she'd like to see Chat Noir get knocked down a peg. She'd always thought it'd be an amusing sight to see his inflated ego deflate a bit, because he could be so arrogant, so over-the-top, that she sometimes thought that he deserved it.
"⌠I'm sorry. It won't happen again." he repeated softly, visibly deflating, and she was wrong. She was so, so wrong, because this wasn't fun at all, and she never wanted to see him like this again, and he didn't deserve this, and she realized that she liked his stupid ego, because he deserved to think so highly of himself because he was wonderful andâ

This is what happened when a fanfic site is profit driven. Wattpad sucks đ
The email from Wattpad is so condescending imagine pressuring writers to update and work while they are doing it for free and fun. Also the discovery? Algorithm? Of Wattpad looks like a stressful popularity contest đ
Hey I just wanna quickly say that you only get these if someone reports the story. I've barely updated on Wattpad in the past two years and haven't gotten any of these, mostly because I don't even have an audience over there who has the potential or drive to report my fics. So, corporate greed is bad, yes, but it's also readers being buttheads
Hmm, that's interesting! You know what happens if someone reports a story for being incomplete on AO3? Jack shit, because not churning out content for your fun little hobby is not a reportable offense on AO3! And that's because, unlike Wattpad, AO3 isn't profiting off of your work, either directly or indirectly, and so when readers are buttheads, the AO3 abuse mods ignore them, instead of sending out weird automated messages harassing writers for daring to have a wip.

Summary
If a little dancing can help Ladybug de-stress, Adrien doesn't mind if she doesn't know all the steps.
Written for the @ladrienjune prompt "slow dance." Posted early because I have no self-control đ.
Read on Ao3 or under the cut!
...
At the sound of Ladybug crashing into somethingâthe foosball table, as it turned outâAdrien set down his pen and swivelled around in his desk chair, watching as she rubbed her hip and returned to pacing around his room. She'd shown up twenty minutes ago, insisting she didn't want to distract him from finishing his homework once she'd realized he was working on it, and had then started wandering around like she might implode if she stopped.
He'd let her be for a whileâexperience told him that sometimes she just needed to get something out of her system. But at this point, he doubted whatever was bothering her was something she'd manage to walk off.
âDo you want to talk about it?â he asked.
She jumped at the sound of his voice, almost crashing into the sofa as well. And under other circumstances, Adrien might have smiled. He loved every side of this girl whoâd long ago stolen his heart. Her inability to walk straight was no exception.
(âBesides,â she would say if he teased her about it, âwhat kind of bisexual would I be if I walked straight?â
And Adrien would follow up with some joke about how he should stop walking in runway shows if that was a qualification for being bi.)
But today didn't feel like the time for jokes.
âW-what?â she said.
He shrugged, following her lead when she glanced awayâhe didnât want her to feel overwhelmed. But he missed having her in his line of sightâeven when heâd been finishing up his math problems heâd been able to see her reflection on his darkened computer screen. So he quickly shifted his eyes back to her, smiling when he noticed she was watching too.
âWhateverâs on your mind.â
Her eyes widened. âI didnât sayâŚâ
âI know. I could justâŚtell.â
âUgh.â She made a face as she slumped down on the couchâs armrest, falling back against the cushions a second later. âIâm the worst company today, arenât I? Sorry. I can go if Iâm too much of a distraction.â
âNo!â Adrien shouted, loud enough that Ladybug sprung back to a sitting position, bracing herself on the back of the couch. He smiled sheepishly. âSorry. Didnât mean to shout, I just...well, I don't want you to go. I love it when you visit, and Iâm almost done with my homework anyways. It just seems likeâŚmaybe youâre upset about something?â
Ladybug stood, fiddling with her hands as she slowly made her way towards him. She stopped beside him, and for a second heâfoolishlyâhoped she might sit in his lap. Instead she leaned against the edge of his desk, tracing a finger over the numbers and variables he'd inked into the page.
"I'm not...upset, exactly," she said. "More like...stressed. But it's no big deal." She shrugged. "Just life stuff."
She sent him a somber smileâthe kind that had I'm trying to tell you I'm fineâtotally FINE! But actually I'm coming apart at the seams HAHAHA written all over it. Adrien knew it well. But he hated seeing it on someone he loved.
"Is there any way I could help?" he asked.
"I mean, if you could take down Shadow Moth, that would be great."
"No problem!" He smiled. "Be right back."
Committed to the bit, Adrien was steps away from his bathroom when a giggle cut him off. "Are you hiding him in the shower or something?"
"Psssh. No! I was trying to fake a dramatic exit."
"Through the bathroom? Were you going to jump out the window? Slide down the drain?"
"Actually, there's a secret passageway behind the mirror."
"Wait. Really?"
He laughed. "No. But good to know you believe me so easily."
"Pfft. That was the last time, Agreste."
"Uh-huh..."
Still grinning, Adrien made his way back to the desk. When he got there, he rolled the chair away in favour of leaning against the desk beside her. He wasn't bold enough to sit so close that their hands would brush, but he was rewarded anyways when Ladybug leaned her head against his shoulder. Adrienâs heart skipped a beat. Or ten.
He wanted to say something else, but he didn't dare disturb the moment.
"I just have so much to do," she said. "But it's all stuff I have to wait for. Like, I'm organizing an event for my class at school, but nobody's getting back to me about what they can bring. And I promised my parents I'd help them install some new shelves, but the order keeps getting delayed. And then there's Hawk Moth, who could strike at any time. And like...the only things I could probably get started on are a few projects for school. Except those aren't due for at least a few more days, so I can't seem to make myself actually start them, and so I keep just playing things over and over in my head, trying to figure out what activity I'm going to slot in when, but there's no good answer, and ugh. I have fifteen kwamis in my room, including one I could use to see the future, but then, like, that might" âher next words were encased in bunny earsâ "mess up the timeline."
She sighed, hands slumping back to her sides. "Which really means that none of the superpowers at my disposal are actually helpful, and it's just...I feel like I'm never going to get anything done, which is stupid, I know, but..."
She finished by standing upâAdrien immediately missed her warmth at his sideâand throwing her hands up in frustration while she made some indecipherable noise. Then her eyes locked on his and widened, like she'd only just remembered he was there.
"I don't think it's stupid," he said gently. "I think...it's amazing you do all that and still manage to be as wonderful as you are."
His words seemed to have the opposite effect as intended, making her shoulders slump. "But I'm not wonderful. I snapped at my best friend today, and at my cruâuuuh...at my other friend." She started pacing again. "And now I'm dumping all my problems on you, and you probably think I'm crazy, and you'll never invite me back here, and..."
She listed a few more things Adrien couldn't quite make sense ofâsomething about kids and hamsters?âbut he didn't think the words were really for him anymore. Unable to watch her keep spiraling, he stood and walked over, stopping her mid-sentence by setting his hands on her shoulders.
"Hey," he said. "I'm sure everything will turn out okay."
Her gaze dropped to her feet. "Maybe..."
"Definitely."
She only sighed in response.
Adrien debated his next words carefully. Part of him wondered if he was secretly being selfish considering his next questionâthe idea was definitely thrilling to him. But if he were in her position, he was pretty sure it was what he would want someone to ask, even if he weren't in love with that someone. And he probably didn't have much to lose.
"Would you like a hug?"
Her eyes shot back up to his, gleaming with some emotion that sent a thrill through him. Then she nodded, and Adrien wasted no time in wrapping his arms around her.
Of course she fit well thereâhe'd hugged her enough as Chat Noir to know that. But he wasn't expecting the way she practically melted into his embrace, or the way his heart rate skyrocketed when her breath ruffled his T-shirt. She smelled of something sweet and floralâhe'd ask her what shampoo she used if that weren't so creepy. And even the way the ends of her pigtail brushed against his arm when she turned her head was a tiny bit of ecstasy he was certain he'd remember for the rest of his life.
But the hug wasn't about him
"Do you feel better?" he asked maybe a minute later, rubbing a hand down her back. She didn't answer, so he pulled back and searched her expression. "Ladybug?"
Her face crumpled. "No. I still can't stop thinking about everything. And you're being so nice, which must make me awful, andâ"
"It doesn't," he assured her. "You're still incredible."
That time, his compliment earned him a tiny smile.
"Maybe you just need a better distraction," he said, before he had to watch that smile fade. "We could...play some mecha strike?"
She shrugged, shaking her hands at her sides. "I feel too...jittery to sit down."
"Ah. Okay. I guess that means a movie's out of the question."
"Sorry."
"It's okay, I promise. We'll figure something out." Adrien bit his lip, looking around the room. So much stuff, but none of it was useful. Then an idea popped into his head that tugged a smile onto his face. "We could...dance?"
Ladybug laughed. "I can't even walk without running into something, and you want me to move other parts of my body at the same time?"
"So, we'll slow dance then. No way you mess that up."
She snorted. "No, but I can totally hurt you when I step on your feet twelve thousand times."
"Twelve thousand? That would actually be impressive."
She laughed again, then sobered. "But do you really...do you want to dance with me?"
Suddenly nervous, Adrien resisted the urge to scratch the back of his neck. Instead he reached out his left hand, trying to project confidence despite the flutters that rippled through him when he noticed her cheeks redden. "It would be my honour."
Taking a deep breath, Ladybug reached for his hand. Adrien followed up by taking a half-step closer and hesitantly settling his free hand on her waist. After that, she seemed at a loss with what to do with her other arm, but she slowly bent her elbow and placed a hand on his chest. Instinctâfrom lessons he'd taken years agoâtold him she should technically put her hand a little higher, but he pushed those feelings aside, trying his best to focus on nothing but her.
That wasn't exactly hard when her eyes found his.
"S-see?" he said, a little breathless. "You're already a pro."
She bit her lip, unable to conceal her smile. "We're not even moving yet."
"Well, that's not so hard either." He took a small step back. "Just one step after the other."
"One after the other," she repeated in a whisper, lowering her gaze as she followed his first step.
They went on like that for a while, in small slow steps, eventually building up some semblance of rhythm. Ladybug started humming some song at some pointâone with 4/4 timing that didn't at all work for the waltz he'd been counting in his head. But somehow that made the moment even more perfect, like how when she finally stopped paying so much attention to each step, she giggled every time she stumbled into him.
She was finally smiling, and nothing else mattered
"Thank you," she whispered against his chest when they got tired of actual dancing and ended up swaying slowly behind by the window. "I feel better now."
Lost in the moment, Adrien didn't even think before bending down to kiss her head. "Me too, my lady."

This fic started as a one-shot half-reveal, but morphed into a full-blown s5 alternate ending. This was supposed to be for the Ladrien June prompt "morning", but I didn't feel like waiting another week or so đ.
Excerpt:
[CW for grief/mourning and recent character death (Gabriel)]
Adrien cleared his throat. "I...ran into Chat Noir outside. He said he had to go, but he told me..." He took a deep breath, continuing in a whisper. "I know my father's dead."
It was the first time he'd said it out loud, and the words came out surprisingly clear. It was only afterwards, when they hung in the awkward silence following Ladybug's sharp intake of air, that he felt like they were eating him from the inside out.
Ladybug's grip tightened. "I'm sorry, Adrien. I'm so sorry."
Read on Ao3, or under the cut!! đ
The rising sun hit Adrien's back as he forced his front door open, its light casting an eerie glow over the mansionâs battle-torn foyer. Half the ceiling was caved in. The staircase was all but destroyed. And scraps of metal amongst the wreckage glinted gold, like the dying embers of a fire. Like the end of an era.
It wasn't the victory it should have been.
As the door slipped from his fingers, Adrien squeezed his eyes shut and stopped to take a few steadying breathsâa dangerous idea. Police officers were still on site, gathering evidence amidst the wreckage. One of them could easily notice him, and then he might get stuck answering their questions. He needed to move. He needed to remember the simple instructions he'd outlined for himself before walking back inside.
Sneak into the kitchen. Grab food for Plagg. Get out.
Run.
He could cover his tracks later. It wouldn't be too hard to find an excuse for Ladybug as to why Chat Noir hadn't come back after he allegedly went outside to recharge. It would definitely be easier than facing her as his civilian selfâas Monarch's sonâright now.
But hesitation had cost him. "Adrien?"
Ladybug.
Unable to reply or to so much as glance in her direction, Adrien stared resolutely at a piece of rubble by his feetâa piece which he thought used to be part of the bannister. Tears burned the corner of his eyes, but he did his best to blink them away.
He tensed when he heard her approach, something he wouldn't have noticed so quickly if it weren't for the debris scattered about. Any other day, her footsteps would have barely made a sound against the marble floors.
Too soon, her feet stopped in front of him. He struggled to keep his breaths even, fighting to remain upright when it felt like the entire world was closing in around him.
"I...I thought you were at Nino's," she said.
Had he told her that? He barely remembered any of the excuses he'd made last night. It was hard to recall much aside from how he'd awoken a few hours earlier to find his father's body splayed unnaturally across the floor, his vacant stare somehow still bearing traces of disappointment.
The ambulance had pulled away maybe an hour ago, with no sirens to accompany its departure.
Adrien only realized Ladybug was probably waiting for a response when she grabbed his hand, pulling him back to the present with a gentle squeeze. His stomach swirled. Couldn't she have reached for his other side?
She deserved better than the hand he'd used to destroy his own father.
When he finally managed to look up, he only felt worse seeing the sympathy in her eyes. He quickly looked back to his feet, panic drowning out any response he tried to cobble together in his head.
"Has anyone told you what happened?" she asked.
Adrien almost said noâwhich would be the truth, technically. Nobody had told him, unless he counted the clarifications Plagg had provided after the fact, details of what occurred after Ladybug and Chat Noir fell victim to Monarch's Akuma. Part of him wondered how Ladybug would tell the story, which parts would she soften or leave out. He wondered what she really thought.
But maybe it was better not to know.
His gut coiled tightly with some unbearable emotion. He tried to think up something else to say, lips parting as he raised his head to look at her. But the second he met her eyesâso wide and blue and sadâspeaking was a lost cause.
His lips quivered. A sob clawed its way up his throat, tugging another one up behind it before the first had even broken free. Ladybug's hand rubbed up and down his arm, and that was all the encouragement he needed to finally release the tsunami inside him.
Adrien had killed his own father.
For months he'd been suffering. Adrien had assumed, when Monarch reappeared from his brief hiatus, that he was okay. That the Cataclysm hadn't been fatal. Instead he'd had a front row seat to his demiseâto all the times he cried out in pain while cooking breakfast, trying to pretend everything was fine whenever Adrien noticed.
But if it weren't for that Cataclysm, if Monarch's health hadn't been weakened, then the world might have ended a few hours ago, torn apart and rebuilt in his fatherâs image. With his parents and Nathalie still alive.
How was he meant to feel about that?
He didn't even know where he was supposed to sleep tonight.
But at least Ladybug didn't hate him. At least he still had one friend in this crazy, twisted world.
She pulled him into her arms as he broke down in tears, as he crumpled like the ceiling and shattered like the windows. As he was reduced to nothing but a shaky foundation, to the dying embers of who he used to be.
Adrien and his cold, lonely home finally had something in common.
...
"Here you go," Ladybug said, sliding a mug of tea across the kitchen counter as she settled onto the stool beside him.
Adrien wrapped his hands around the mug. The water was still too hot, but it took him a few seconds to notice. By the time he loosened his grip, his fingers already stung.
"Thanks," he croaked, his throat raw from crying. He wasn't really the biggest fan of tea, but it had seemed to make Ladybug feel better having some way to help him.
The least he could do was pretend she'd succeeded.
For a while they sat in silence. Adrien stared blankly at his tea, vaguely aware of how Ladybug kept shifting around like she couldn't get comfortable.
"Do you...have any questions?" she asked eventually.
He shook his head. None of his questions were for the living.
"Well," she said, "if you think of any later...I'd be happy to answer if I can. And if there's anything else I can do..." She reached out slowly to touch his shoulder, and it was all he could do not to shake her off. "Is there anywhere you'd like to go? Someone you'd like to see?"
Adrien fiddled with the string of his tea bag, watching it bob up and down. "Am I even allowed?"
"What do you mean?"
"To leave."
"Why wouldn't you be?" When he shrugged, her hand slipped from his shoulder. She slid her stool closer. "Adrien, you're not in trouble. Nobody thinks you had anything to do with any of this."
Maybe they should.
Adrien swallowed. "But...don't I have to talk to a social worker or something?"
"Oh. I, um...I don't know. I guess so, but there's nobody here right now, so...I don't think anyone would mind if I took you somewhere else to wait."
He nodded slowly, hand moving automatically to his pocket. He shifted to pull out the lucky charm he kept there, wrapping his fingers tightly around it. "Maybe I could go to my girlfriend's house."
"That sounds like a great idea," Ladybug said, jumping to her feet. "Let's go!"
Adrien remained glued in his seat, his stomach swirling. Seeing Marinette probably would make him feel betterâat least on the surface. But how long could that last? Hiding his identity hadn't really come between them since they'd gotten together, but this was different. How could he hide the worst thing he'd ever done?
But what if he told her and she never looked at him the same way?
Ladybug's stool scraped against the floor as she sat back down, and she sounded upset when she spoke. "Do you not want to go?"
Adrien set the lucky charm on the table and watched the beads blur behind fresh tears. "I'm...scared."
"Why?"
"Because...what if Marinette sees me differently."
"Do you really believe she would?" Ladybug asked in a small voice.
He thought for a moment. "No? I don't know. Probably not, but...she could."
She grabbed his hand, and when he glanced her way there was an intensity in her eyes he couldn't interpret. "I'm sure she won't."
"You can't know that."
"But I do! Iâshe loves you, right?"
Adrien's stomach clenched, but he managed a nod as a hot tear rolled down his cheek.
"Exactly!" Ladybug said, gesturing nonsense with her free hand. "So there!"
He mustered a small smile for her enthusiasm, but it was short-lived. "It doesn't matter," he said, wiping his eyes. "Things are different now."
"Sure. But...that doesn't mean everything has to change, right?"
He didn't answer, trying to ignore the feelings swirling inside him by poking at his tea bag again. The water was cool enough now that it didn't hurt when he accidentally dipped his finger in, but the idea of actually taking a sip and swallowing seemed foreign. So he kept staring at it until a sniffle came from beside him. He turned to see Ladybug with one hand covering her mouth, tears trickling down her cheeks.
"My lady?" he said without thinking, reaching over to set a hand on her shoulder. Panic spiked through him when he realized what he'd called her, but she didn't seem to notice.
"I'm sorry!" she cried. "I didn't mean to...I'm f-fine! It's just that youâI just want to help you! But maybe I c-can't. And it's not f-fair, that you're hurting. And..."
Her next words were drowned out by a sob. She slumped down on the table, hiding her face in her arms. All Adrien could do was sit there rubbing her back until she calmed down, at which point she pushed herself up slowly, wiping her eyes.
"I'm sorry I let this happen," she said.
"What?" Adrien replayed her words in his head, certain he'd misunderstood. "It wasn't your fault."
"It was my job to stop Monarch from making the wish, and I...failed. Even if he didn't succeed...someone's still paying the price."
"That's ridiculous." It was his fault.
"Adrien, it's fine. You don't have to..." She drew in a shaky breath. "If you're mad at me, I understand."
None of the morning had felt real, but now Adrien was sure he must be caught in some sort of alternate reality.
Maybe the wish had worked. Maybe his mother would walk into the kitchen at any moment.
If only.
"That makes no sense," Adrien said slowly, still trying to wrap his head around things. "If anything, it's Chat Noir's fault."
Ladybug's eyes went wide. "Did he tell you that?"
How was he meant to answer that? "Not...exactly. But he told me about the Cataclysm, andâ"
"Please don't blame him for that. I know he feels terrible enough already."
"Because Monarch's dead thanks to him. It's his fault!"
"It's not," Ladybug pleaded. "He was just following my plan, and Monarch caught us off guard, and then..."
"But...but you..." Adrien trailed off, his body shaking.
He didn't know what to say, because technically Ladybug was right. But he didn't blame her at all, and he certainly didn't want her blaming herself.
"It was my fault," he said, knowing it was true. He felt it with every inch of his body, with every useless breath he took.
The guilt consumed him.
"Adrien," Ladybug breathed. "It's absolutely not your fault. How could you even think that?"
Only once he processed her words did he recognize his own misstep. But she hadn't caught on yet. He could still walk this back.
But he wasn't sure he wanted to.
This secret took too energy much to hide.
"It was me,â he said shakily. âIt was my..."
He couldn't finish the sentence. He could barely even breathe. But he could see in Ladybugâs eyes that she still didn't understand, so he raised his hand to mimic the motion, stretching out his fingers the way he would if he'd really called on his power. He tried to mouth the word too, but he wasn't really sure his lips obeyed. Slowly, he lowered his hand to the counter, letting it collapse into a fist when he made contact.
Cataclysm.
He watched as realization slowly dawned on her. Then she blinked hard, shaking her head as if trying to dismiss the idea. But her eyes flew to the ring on his hand, widening further.
âChat Noir?â
"I did this," he said in a broken whisper. "I killed him."
"Oh, Chaton. No." Ladybug stood, wrapping her arms around him. "It was an accident. It's not your fault."
Adrien thought that maybe, if he kept taking breaths so small they barely counted, if he let his mind float away the way it had been threatening to do all morning, then maybeâmaybeâhe could keep from crying again. But Ladybug rested her head on his shoulder, her warm breath ruffling his T-shirt. And that was all it took for him to come apart again.
...
They ended up on the floor, wedged between both stools. Adrien wasn't sure if he'd fallen off his seat at some point or if Ladybug had carried him here. He didn't care. As long as he could keep lying here with his head in Ladybug's lap and her fingers in his hair, he could somehow keep the guilt at bay. He could stop it from devouring him whole.
But he couldn't stay here forever.
Marinette's lucky charm was clenched in his fist again, and he was afraid to let go.
"Should I tell her?" Adrien asked.
"Hm?"
"Marinette. Should I..." He closed his eyes. "Do you think she'd hate me if I told her the truth?"
Ladybug let out a shaky breath, her fingers freezing in his hair. "She won't hate you. And...yes. I think you should tell her."
"Okay. Maybe I will."
"How about this?" Ladybug said. "If she breaks up with you, I'll date you instead."
Adrien managed some semblance of a laugh. "What about your boyfriend?â
âMmm." She twisted another strand of hair around her finger. "Somehow I donât think heâll mind.â
âAll right then. Itâs a deal.â
Her offer was a jokeâhe knew that. But somehow it still felt like a promise.
"Would you...like me to take you to her now?âLadybug asked. âI still can, if you want."
"Maybe." He thought of the bakery. Of Tom and Sabine's welcoming smiles, the smell of croissants, and being wrapped up in one of Marinette's hugs. It sounded nice. "Give me five more minâ" He broke off in a yawn.
Ladybug laughed. "Or you can get some sleep first." Her voice was gentle and steady and safe. "I'll stay with you."
He tried to reply, but his words were engulfed by another yawn. So he settled for mumbling his agreement, squeezing the lucky charm to his chest, and letting his eyes flutter closed.
Maybe in his dreams, the world wouldn't hurt so much.
From a cue stolen by @miraculousbrie on Twitter I wrote an oneshot in a couple of hours: a sort of post-finale to Adoration from Season 5.
It obviously contains spoilers about Season 5 and.... well if you've watched the episode I don't have to warn you about anything else.
I hope you enjoy it.
PS Don't take it too seriously.
Adrien needs to talk to someone and the first thing that comes to his mind is to do it as Chat Noir, and to talk to Marinette, who incidentally is the person he wants to talk to.

Summary:
Marinette receives a visit from Fei, an orphan girl she met in Shanghai, now a guest of Marinette's uncle and also the keeper of a magical jewel: the Prodigious.
After the events of the Special, a solid friendship was born immediately between the two.
Fei stays for a few days at Marinette's house where she also becomes Alyaâs friend and with her they decide to arrange a date between Marinette and Adrien without the two knowing. As always when Marinette and Adrien are involved, things are not that simple.
The fanfic is set after the Shanghai special, so during Season 3 (Luka and Kagami are still in the background).
