I forgot how many acronyms there are in information management. Marc my words I hate this unit.

I signed up to get development updates on a phone that hopes to, among other things, change the shape we associate with phones. The thing about making non-rectangular devices however is that UI is built around that shape making it almost impossible to build for. Would I still like to see it someday? Yes. But it's a lot to add onto a project if you are hoping to explore other ideas. I think a shape like a square could be cool given the project is also looking at keyboards. All this to say ideas are fun but often times there is method to the sameness.
