I can’t believe no one suggested a prompt for Kim yet, I swear that guy is on the aromantic spectrum either Quoiromantic (someone who has trouble distinguishing romantic and platonic attraction) or Recipromantic (someone who only feels romantic attraction to another person after they know the other person is attracted to them)
I can imagine something after that Sleeping Syrene episode where Kim realizes that he doesn’t experience romantic attraction the same way others do with the help of Max since Max probably figured out early on that he is probably aroace and, being the good bestie he is, helps Kim figure out who he is (but of course not without Marinette putting in her unneeded word)
Okay, but Kim being part of the aromantic spectrum makes so much sense.
And after what happened in Sleeping Syren, I can definitely see Kim rethinking his relationship with Ondine after he and Max talk about what it means to be aromantic.
Would she still want to be with him? (Yes.) Would she weirded out? (No.) Would she think he's broken? (Never.) Was she denying her what she wanted in a relationship by being part of the aromantic spectrum? (No, and even if he was, she's learned that she has to tell him things, he can't read her mind.)
And I can definitely see Marinette trying to butt in:
She'd definitely bring up Dark Cupid, and how Kim tried to get rid of love because someone wouldn't love him in return.
She'd bring up Syren, and how Kim was likely just too dumb to realize what romance was, even if it was literally shoved in his face.
She'd likely accuse him of toying with Ondine's feelings. Tell him he was just faking being aromantic because he was secretly in love with Max.
She pushes him and Max into coming out.
The thing is, Ondine knows that the two and Alix have a qpr (queer platonic relationship) together. But that doesn't mean she isn't his girlfriend.
No one is happy with Marinette. She pushed two of her "friends" into coming out. She accused one of being secretly gay (hence pushing them to come out). Shoved his and his GFs prior akumatizations right into his face as proof. And overall was just being a bitch about it.
I wouldn't be surprised if she brought in his dads when trying to give input on Kim's identity. "You have two dads, are you sure you're not just gay?"
