I'm gonna blame no updates for a while on the bright Florida sun, and not my inability to remember to take pics at dawn. Yeah, its the star's fault lol. Anyway, today is May 4, 2022 and about 99% of my plants have taken off!

My area got nearly (if not) freezing temps overnight a few nights ago and while most of my plants were fine, my beans and cucumbers took some damage. Not shown are my potted peppers that took more of a hit. On the plus side, I filled my pepper bed and bean pods are starting to form

The pepper bed so far has: Cubanelle, Orange Sun, Cayenne, Super Chili, Jigsaw, Chiltepin, Purple Beauty, Chinese Giant, and California Wonder.

Pepper bed then the "everything else" bed lol. A lot of my seeds didn't sprout so I decided to split everything up and just grow more peppers. I still have a little space left in the EE bed so I'm tempted to grow popcorn. Not pictured are several little pots that I have filled with mostly pepper seeds. In that system I have an extra type of cucumber (Beit Alpha) and dwarf moringa

Huge seed update! I think 3/4 of my beans sprouted and they grew so quick that their roots have penetrated the peat pots they’re in. I may have to plant them before March 1st.

Mpre plants have sprouted! Now I have a bean, tomato, and carrot all peeking out

So far, one Super Chili pepper, a few mizuna, and white horehound seeds have successfully germinated

Got another heat mat and grow light. Unfortunately I had to place it (hopefully temporarily) in my garage.

I've planted all my seeds and made more substitutions. Today I saw a super chili sprout!

I’ve been thinking about how much I’ll be sowing on the 15th (around 14 plants) and I realize that I already have three jalapeño plants and one mammoth jalapeño plant. I’m going to be substituting the regular one (sowing) for a chocolate jalapeño since I don’t have any chocolate peppers of any kind. A lot of people have said that grilled chocolate jalapeños taste amazing so why not do that I guess?

I almost forgot to plant today's round of seeds lol. Unfortunately, nothing has sprouted from the other pots I have. I'm hoping it's not the soil I'm using

I ordered some new grow lights since I figured one light wasn't going to give enough light to all the pods. To be fair, I don't think this one will either, but it's at least a little better. I noticed my first goji berry sprout looks a little weird as it grows its first true leaf sprout and my common yarrow is growing true leaves. Now if my other stuff could germinate, it would make me feel better

I went to Lowe's and bought 4 big seed trays and now I think I may need more hahaha! I have these 8 hanging pots off my fence in the backyard so I started some Chiltepin peppers. Those are separate from my beds as they'll end up in the pots. But today, I planted my black/purple Pusa Asita carrots and Big Jim peppers

Common Yarrow has sprouted! More stuff will be going in tomorrow including more seed trays because I sorely underestimated how much I'll be planting haha! Tomorrow the Pusa Asita carrots and Big Jim peppers will be starting
