“Oh god, no rides for you then. We could go into the fun house? Or play some games? Please don’t cry, I’ll start too and we’ll be a mess. I can’t wait to give you your gift.”

“No. I am scared of them anyway. What’s fun house? Yes, yes no crying for today but I can’t make any promises for the ceremony. Wait, what gift? You didn’t need to.”

“I’m iust getting food, do you want some? I need to eat my feelings, I can’t think about you leaving yet.”

“No I am full already. Gaby made me eat literally everything. Please.. Don’t even remind me. I am already upset and stressed about it. I am gonna cry so much during graduation ceremony.”

Sh, I’m hiding! Mindy is trying to convince me to sing karaoke with her and between you and I, nobody wants to hear that. I’m being serious, my parents unfortunately passed down their terrible singing — I was kicked out of the choir when I was eight. So please, please don’t tell her where I am? The cotton candy’s on me.

“There you are! I have been looking for you, where were you?”

“You’ll let me sleep a lot though, right? I just want to pretend like you’re not leaving.” 

“I will. Aww don’t say that, a part of me will always be around. Plus you can reach me whenever you want, god bless Skype.”

“Now why would I go and shoot you in the face, Mindy? Do you think I’m that awful? You’re right, I am.’

“See? You just told yourself, you are that awful. So obviously I am scared.”

“Aren’t you the girl that likes to see the best in everyone, or whatever?” 

I know it’s like a really sad part of the year and all, and I’m so not ready to say goodbye to some of my friends…. but I’m so ready for the summer and doing nothing. I need my sleep! 

“We have a huge summer to spend time together and I am not gonna let you sleep all day!”

“I gotta say, I truly feel bad for anyone who thinks they’re gonna get through that paintball course without me shootin’ you. You’re livin’ a lie, just accept it.”

“I am fine as long as you don’t shoot me in the face.”
