not to pull the 18 year old minor card but some of y'all really think people just magically become fully developed adults once they're legal. the difference between 17 and 18 is just a few months and it doesn't give you license to prey on teenagers. just because something isn't gonna get you put in jail doesn't make it morally right. don't let the number 18 stop you from protecting young people, especially vulnerable teenage girls tricked into thinking they're "mature for their age"

because it is being talked about right now i want to reiterate that it is NEVER okay, in any circumstance, to out someone or force them into a situation where they have to out themselves. if someone has confided in you their thoughts about questioning their sexuality or has came out to you, or you find out through their secret twitter or something, it is your job to keep that secret. do not put that person in any sort of situation where they might feel uncomfortable. do not bring it up in conversations. do not tell anyone else or discuss it with someone unless that person has SPECIFICALLY told you it is okay to discuss it with that person. do not tell their parents or family members, especially if you have any sense that they would be unaccepting. JUST DON’T.
