i hate when apps know that i’m screenshotting something. when i screenshot something, that’s me acting outside your realm of understanding, app. i am beyond what you consider the observable universe. you’re not supposed to perceive me. we don’t know when god screenshots the earth. we don’t know when he’s like, “okay i’m just gonna take a pic in case i ever want to add dinosaurs back to something later and don’t remember how.” and if we did, we wouldn’t act all smug about it like, “hey, you wanna share that post? you could just click here to share it.” no, man. you didn’t catch me. i screenshotted this for my own reasons. what’s next? i can’t take a photo of my computer screen with my phone out of laziness without being shamed by the printer i don’t own?

it frustrates me that people conflate being unhappy with the direction of mcsr's growth with not wanting good things or not wanting it to grow at all. like no... i want big tournaments and lans i just don't want them to be sponsored by the us military. i want mcsr streamers to be successful i just also want them to care about the consequences of that success and the responsibilities they have as large creators. i want more people to be into mcsr i just don't want it to be so disproportionately ranked focused that it overshadows everything else and becomes the only thing people think of when they think of mcsr. i don't know maybe this is too idealistic but i still think we should be allowed to voice these complaints and care about the direction the community is going in without being accused of blindly hating/not wanting mcsr to get big
