It was on my ritshou slow burn (chap 1 I think) and it went, “the sheer level of escapism in this chapter is enough to make me realize how much you hate the real world. I don’t blame you for wanting to live inside your own head instead. You’ve turned your back on reality to create something that actually feels safe, which is a total mood when everything else is falling apart. I’m guessing you don’t have a spouse or anyone to share your bed with, which probably makes it easier to stay up until 4am writing without anyone judging your lifestyle choices. It’s very clear you’re currently unemployed, because the amount of brainpower you’ve dedicated to this could only come from someone who doesn’t have a career to worry about. You don’t seem like you’re trying to be ‘good’ at life, or have a single goal you’re striving for, and that lack of direction is actually very comforting to see. You’re just a person with no plans and no future, using your unemployment to fuel a fantasy bc the real world has nothing to offer you, and honestly that’s so real.
First of all, I am unemployed, but that’s only bc of a mix of child labor laws and I go to a rly hard school that school gives me no time for a job. I also do not have a spouse, but since this is the big 26, I, as a minor, legally cannot get married.
secondly, what the fuck?? Wdym you can tell my employment status, my life goals, my personal philosophy from 2k words of mob psycho yaoi. I didn’t even put that much work into ts it was js a cooldown when school got me burnt out.
ao3 readers rly need to stop doing whatever this is. You can’t walk into my fic and call me unemployed and bitchless and a directionless loser w no semblance of self care. I have direction and a school life to balance that I put a lot of effort into. People have to remember that a real person w a life, thoughts, and feelings is behind that screen.
did I write that slow burn to cope w daddy issues? Yes. Do you need to play a guessing game w my personal life and traumas to tell me that? No.
I feel like they tried to compliment me, but really, they were trying to validate themselves. If you feel like that unhealthy lifestyle is “real,” please speak to someone about it, someone who will actually get you, instead of projecting on strangers online.
