Because yeah platonic relationships, you would do insane things for your friends, there is no need for romance etc etc, all true, but you have to understand that some people are talking about when characters are 0.2 seconds from fucking raw on the nearest surface undressing each other with their eyes as they speak and the only thing keeping them is the writers and directors figuratively holding them back like mad horses, because someone in the room created an insane sexual tension between these two maybe accidentally and maybe on purpose we don't know, but yeah anyway there is no explanation for it other than they should fuck nasty about it.
