Crazy how time flies! In 2014 I had the pleasure of opening up for Heesun Lee’s NY Breaking Stereotypes Tour. Got to meet some other dope artists, too. Such a blast.

For the closing night in Staten Island I ended up doing a set with my favorite acoustic guitar player ever…my dad. <3 It’s safe to say I felt at home. Lol

Some thoughts… I sometimes spend so much time reading through books and quotes searching for something I can relate to. Don’t get me wrong; I think that’s a great thing. It’s great to be inspired. It’s great to read, learn, and see life from other people’s perspective. Many times, however, what we truly need is not to read or see life through what someone else has written or created at one point in time. Sometimes, the words we need are right inside of us, waiting to be verbalized or somehow expressed in whatever form we can best express it… -Milla
