I spent several minutes just staring at them (and trying to convince them to bite my fingers.) When my sister’s violin lesson ended, her teacher came out to the yard and explained that these goldfish were the same small creatures that were often unfortunately sold in plastic bags at state fairs. They were only about two inches long apiece, when she bought them and put them in the new, empty pond. In essence, they were like every goldfish I had seen before, but they had been given a much larger, much richer environment in which to flourish. As a result, they had grown into some of the most remarkable, vibrant creatures my twelve-year-old self had ever met with. All because of a pond. 

I've tried my best to summarise everything relevant but you might have already gathered things are messy and still unfolding so keep that in mind:

On June 7th Babe posted he had filed something to seek compensation regarding his wage for an event earlier this year. He attached a document from idolfactory stating that they had received their part of the payment on time and then the brand responsible for the event told them they had paid the second installment, assigned for the actors, to the actors directly. In his post Babe says he has repeatedly tried to contact the other party involved but has not received an answer.

On June 8th Babe was at the blessing ceremony for his new series. He gave a brief press interview there reiterating his points and stating he felt particularly hurt because the lack of transparency came from someone he'd trusted.

Today, June 10th, Billy and Babe's former manager during their time with idolfactory posted that the payment had been made fully into a limited company account that lists Billy's mother as a company director.

Shortly after Billy came online to make his statement. Essentially confirming that yes, he had received said payment but was unaware it was meant to be split between him and Babe and refuting that Babe had reached out to him about this before.

I do also want to point out both their statements mention they were responsible themselves for aspects like hair, make up, wardrobe and travel eventhough artist management should have covered those bases/expenses. Which is like, fucked.

Edit: Adding Babe's most recent ig post captioned 'closure' that just dropped because it seems.. quite poignant.

And that's the situation so far! At the end of the day I really do just hope everyone gets the money they're owed.
