One thing I am most excited for is Louis’s further character development throughout the rest of the season. As Marlon would say, Louis is finally having to get his ass in gear. Shit is getting real, and there’s no time to waste.
With the Vi branch, you’ve got a good start. She’s strong, good in a fight, smart, quick, and even careful, I’d say. Louis is going to have to learn to be all of those things. And boy oh boy am I READY.

I laughed at this for a good five minutes.
I noticed that Louis looks kinda like (no, not Jaden Smith) his VA, same for Violet. Do you by any chance know if their models were made after their voice actors or were other people used as reference?
All the character designs were done before voice actors were cast, so I think it’s just an after the fact illusion. We did at least cast for the matching ethnicity for almost all the actors, so that likely helps them resemble the characters.
This is insane! Gideon has Vi’s exact facial features.

If you think about it, the Ericson kids are going to be entering the Delta completely blind.
Both of their members who knew Abel (and probably Lilly) are dead, so they have no idea who these people are (minus Clementine).

One thing I still would really like to see is for one of the collectables in episode 3 or 4 to be something Louis or Violet will give to you depending on who you bonded with.
We already have something of AJ’s to decorate our room, so it would be cute to also have something related to Lou/Vi as well.

Something I noticed is that Rosie seems to be a personification of Marlon's raw emotions. Was this intentional from the writers, symbolism wise?
That is intentional! The dog barking was intended to add chaos and unease to a scene that is essentially just people standing in a circle and yelling at each other. Rosie is very empathetic.
Rosie’s barking seriously made that scene so much more tense. That paired with the storm? Whew...

Violet and Minerva?
I was looking at the old screenshots we got, and was quick to notice something. Take a look at this:
The picture of Lilly is obviously in the Delta, or at least we can assume that. Observe the wall behind her.
In the picture with Violet, it’s the same wall. This means that the picture of Clem and Violet also takes place in the Delta.
Looking at Violet, she doesn’t seem very happy. Judging by Clem’s face, we can see she is being sympathetic towards her.
Sure, this might be in apology for “letting” her get kidnapped, but what about Minnie?
Shouldn’t Vi be happy since she can finally reunite with the girl who meant so much to her?
This could convey a few things:
-Minnie escaped somehow (unlikely)
-Minnie moved on or found somebody else
-Vi is conflicted because she loves Clementine (determinant)
-Lilly won’t let Vi see Minnie
A possibility of the Lilly screenshot is that Clem is trying to convince Lilly to let the two reunite.
Yeah, yeah, this is probably a reach. But we won’t know until the 15th ;)

I get the feeling that Aasim’s journal might be important this season.
It could be used to solve some kind of mystery, or unveil some sort of secret. Maybe we’ll have the choice to secretly read it, or leave it alone, depending on your morals.
