âWhy did teacher insist on their interpretation of the textâ When youâre teaching a skill (how to substantiate an argument by looking for slash analyzing evidence) the content (the interpretation) should be familiar or given out so that you can focus on building what matters. Vice versa when teaching content. They could also just be right.
âWhy canât things be more engaging/funâ some things will never be as fun as phone. A nonzero but hopefully minimal part of education is always going to be making people do things they would not otherwise want to do. Coping with being bored is itself a life skill.
âWhy did I have to ask permission to leave the roomâ Teacher is legally responsible for your well being and needs to know where you are and how long youâve been out in case there is an emergency.
