Something Witty

love is everywhere tbh. it’s there in the home cooked meals you got from back home a million miles from wherever you are tucked away in the fridge that you heat up whenever cooking from scratch feels like too much. it’s there in the fresh laundry by the dinner table that your past self did because they knew friday nights would be as exhausting as thursday afternoons. it’s in the faint music three blocks down at the local restaurant where you know it’s another birthday party and that there are people happy someone was born and someone is happy to be born out of love and loved still. everywhere there is love and love is everywhere etc etc.

literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast… try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen… the time will stretch and you’ll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.

Black Friday is such a joke nowadays. “Don’t miss out on 30% off” don’t piss me the fuck off. People used to hit each other over the head for a microwave that’s how low the prices were. People literally died. We used to be a country

"let people be wrong about you" is such good advice that i am unfortunately physically incapable of following. if i am incorrectly perceived by anyone i will simply start ripping things with my teeth

"your birthday doesnt even matter after you turn 25 nothing even happens-" WRONG. when you are 25 you will try and enjoy so many new foods. you will learn the importance of probiotics and a good ice pack. you will start understanding the meaning of 'im still watching i promise im just resting my eyes'. and. you will learn the importance of a reasonably priced piece of grocery store produce
