Im Back In The Building

Yuna's one is like, "HOLY SHIT THE CENTAURS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS! I never thought I'd be so excited to say that. 😂 This is such a huge achievement and I couldn't be more proud of you! This means I'm finally going to have to cave and by an Ottawa jersey. Don't tell David I told you, but he's still drying his eyes about it. Bubbly when you and Shane come over on Saturday for SURE, okay? Love you lots. SO proud."

And David's is like, "You did it, Cap! I know how hard you worked for this and it's paid off. We'll be cheering you on for every game. I am so unbelievably proud of you, kiddo. Love you lots - can't wait to see you and Shane on Saturday."

these we’re supposed to just be doodles…

which means maybe the centaurs have picked up on the fact that hey, sometimes when shane wants ilya to stop doing something, he taps his arm twice. or if ilya wants shane to move one way, he taps him three times. or if he just wants his attention, its a squeeze. which is all relatively normal, and they probably think its cute that they have an unspoken language for communicating with one another.

his tail rests between his legs and his floppy ears are folded inside out, and god, it's fucking cute. two of his sharp little canines are poking out from his mouth, and he rumbles little sleepy growls as he rests. wow, robbys got a weird fucking dog. when robby settles next to him and pets on his belly, dennis's eyes snap open, his tail starts wagging immediately, and he does yet more contortion to squirm his way into robby's lap.

robby finds him in other places too, of course. curled into a ball in their bed, somehow wedged between their pillows and with just one paw sticking out. splayed on his front in the garden, limbs tangled and ears flicking in the sun. folded in half in the passenger seat of the car, drooling peacefully and collar tags jingling. he's even found him in the special dog bed, but rather than actually being *in* the bed, he's been dozing *on* the edge of it, torso plonked on the hardwood floor and legs stretched out in the soft fabric.

robby takes pictures of them all, of course. while he might grimace at the pains his own body would experience from these... odd positions, his special puppy looks so sweet and serene, even grumbling and whining to himself in his dreams.
