My only question is how does the malice behind a slur dissappear- *blinks rapidly* as far as I've been aware, slurs of all kinds never really lost their malicious meaning, they've just slowly been adapted and embraced by the communities. Used as affectionate terms more often then rude/racist terms anymore.

"Bringing back the meaning" doesn't mean anything. You ain't gonna bring back the meaning of shit with that argument, just make yourself look ignorant and stupid. 'Faggot' and 'Tranny' arent ever gonna lose their negative meanings, they're just gonna stop being used in a malicious manner in favor of a positive light, more often between friends. Similar to how drag queens will occasionally call eachother 'whores', as an affectionate/friendly term used between them.

Honestly, this is a thing I've never understood, but this is my take on it so. And I myself, am a Transgender man, AND am extremely gay. So to anyone claiming I have no opinion on this topic, get debunked NERD

But yeah. Words don't lose meaning, sometimes they just become overshadowed by a more positive light. The use of a word that doesn't apply to you shouldn't ever really be an issue anyway, I don't get why people have an issue with LGBT+ folks using terms between eachother ._.
