“I know it feels weird sweety but the therapist said it’s the only way we can address the root of your issues.”

“Awww why is he crying? I thought you said he wanted to wear diapers again mom”

“Oh he does. Don’t mind him, he just gets a bit fussy when he’s making poopies. It’s actually right on schedule — always happens this time of morning”

“Awww poor thing. Does your tummy hurt? It’s ok to to push it out and make it feel better. Don’t worry about us being here. Mom told us you asked if you could wear diapers again so there’s nothing to hide.”

“Just push and let all the pressure fill your pants. You’ll feel so much better.”

“Give him some space Sarah. I know you just love your stepbrother and are trying to be supportive, but you just have to let nature take its course. There’s really no need to fuss over him. He’ll be happy as a clam again in a few minutes once his pamper is full.”

“Mom, doesn’t he have to start college again in a few weeks? How is he going to do that if he’s so used to this routine?”

“I know it’s different but this is very important to your brother. It’s something he’s held inside all pent up up for a long time and was very brave to come out about”

“I guess he does seem a lot happier”
