As much as I am LOVING all the love and support the new black magical girl pilot is getting, can we not use it to put down other magical girl shows?? Yeah more darker skinned/black rep in anime is important, but that doesn’t mean that any other magical girl shows with pale skinned characters are inherently bad???

And don’t call the characters in these other magical girl shows white when they literally take place in Japan.

JAPANESE PPL ARE STILL POC!! ASIANS ARE POC!! Not every poc has darker skin tones and it’s extremely racist to assume otherwise.

Idk why tf you’d even say/believe something like that so proudly like omg that’s super racist what is wrong with yall??? We should be going after the racist white ppl in power right now, not after other fellow marginalized ppl. Get over yourselves.

Plus the creator of idwbamg is also literally half Japanese. She’s blasian. so not only are you being racist towards other Japanese ppl but to the creator of this pilot as well..and don’t even get me started on the internalized misogyny radiating off of these ppl using this pilot to put down other magical girl shows..I hate it here…
