Violet stares at the message from Gossip Girl on her phone and fury surges through her veins. The night of Resson fresh in her mind as if it happened yesterday. She closes her eyes and feels herself getting hot and before she can fully control it, a bolt of lightning strikes a nearby tree and she exhales, feeling slightly better. "What?" Jordan looked at Violet with wide eyes. "You coould have killed me." He said to her.

"If you throw water in my face, I'll tell Frankie your most embarrassing shit when we were kids, don't tempt me." She looked at her older brother.

Jordan narrows his eyes at his sister, but he knws she'll do it. "Okay, fine, I won't." He says to her and rubs his face. "How are you?"

"i can promise you, i am not here to say anything stupid. i was just going to ask if i could join you here. this place is pretty crowded."

"Yeah, of course." Jordan nodded and looked at tamlin. "It gets crowded way too fast in here, so anyone can join me."

Fury rolled her eyes. "Maybe you should step back on drinking if this is how you act when you're hungover." She said. "Drink some water and eat some greasy food, it'll help." She added as she sat down across from him.

Jordan looks at her. "I'm just exhausted, is all." He tells her. "It could always be worse, my mood could always be worse."

"Oh come on, Jordan. I'm not going to say something like that. At least not right now." He said with a chuckle and sat down across from him. "Anything I can do to help?"

"Oh so I have time before you say something stupid?" Jordan jokes and looks at his friend. "Nah, I just need to eat something greasy, you know?"

"Jordan, I will never judge anyone for being hungover, especially since I am who I am." Chuck said with a laugh. "Do you want something better than water though?"

"I could use some water, yeah, thank you Bass." He said with a chuckle and rubbed his face. "I'm getting way too old to party."

"No worries, we're on the same team." Robin laughed, taking a seat on a stool next to him. "If you haven't heard, my chosen way of retaliating is throwing water on people." She waved at the bartender to order her favorite drink. "One question. Do you throw water at people who ramble? Just making sure." She chuckled and took the drink from the bartender. "So, what are you here for? I'm a good listener. Marriage trouble or is this just you having a good drink? I promise you, I don't work with Gossip Girl."

"I don't throw water at anyone." He said and rubbed his face as he looked at her. "I need some water and food, and honestly, with Frankie being at work, I had to get out of the house for a bit."

"I could go for a shot, yeah. I can't do too many though, but I can do a couple."

"See, this is why I respect you, you actually give a fuck about those that care about you." She looked at Jordan. "I'm glad that you aren't going back and I'm sure Frankie is very glad too."

"Do you understand how selfish I'd be if I didn't care about those that cared about me, Briar?" He raised a brow at her. "I am very blessed to have the family that I o and that includes Frankie and Aurora."

"How long has she been reigning... or so she thinks, in Manhattan? Honest to God, I already freaking hate her so much. I think you're right, she has too much time on her hands." Robin said as she steadied herself. Balancing the paper bags once she grabbed everything that fell. "How do you people deal with her and why do people still go to her events? I just heard about them. I received one too for this green with envy party."

"Honestly? Too damn long if you ask me. She was a lot better when Dan Humphrey was her, but that was because he actually wrote stuff that was true, and not just whatever he felt like writing." He looked at Robin and helped her with her groceries. "I honestly just ignore her and focus on the good in my life and focus on all the true things in my life."

"Yeah, you are very lucky, there are tons of NFL players, hell, not just NFL players, but football players or contact sports players that can get really horrible injuries worse than an ACL tear."

"Oh trust me, I know." He chuckled and looked at Emir. "That was honestly my biggest fear, was getting an injury worse than an ACL tear."

Dan laughed. "I know you aren't and you shouldn't be, no one should be." He said. "Besides that, how are you doing?"

"Besides that, I'm doing pretty good." Jordan said with a smile. "Things with Frankie are great, and I am living my life to the fullest. What's not to be happy about, you know?"

"Well those people are fucking stupid and pathetic. Don't let them get to you."

"I never do, they don't mean anything to me and I'm happy with my choice to retire. They just need to pull their heads out of their asses."

"Those people are fucking stupid. Next time they get mad at you, tell them to fuck off."

Jordan laughed. "I would love to do that, Aurora, but unfourtanetly, I do have a reputation and a brand to uphold."

"i still can't believe both of them are playing football." pope said with a laugh. "At a certain point, just retire, you know?"

"Some people just cannot let go of their glory days and it is honestly beyond sad." Jordan looked at Pope. "I do agree with you though, there is nothing wrong in retiring and making sure you have a good rest of your life."
