high lord tamlin

"Oh shit that is strong, what is in this." Topper asked as he made a face and looks at the person who handed him the drink. @ggstarterblog

"whiskey and a lot of it." tamlin looks at topper. "is it too strong for you?"

"Yeah, of course." Jordan nodded and looked at tamlin. "It gets crowded way too fast in here, so anyone can join me."

"i appreciate it." tamlin says as he sits down across from jordan. "uh, i'm tamlin, by the way."

"you know, you too. I hope you find whatever you're looking for and hopefully Lucien can find his way here too." She said, Feyre, unlike everyone on her side, was past the point of bitterness with Tamlin, she just wanted to be happy with her family, the city was much too dangerous in itself, she didn't need to add Tamlin to that list.

"thank you." he nods and looks at her for a moment. he opens his mouth to go and say something, but stops, not knowing exactly what to say. "see you around." he says before walking away.

"Wow, Tamlin, dude. You really are worlds different from your doppelganger." Robin told him and leaned on the counter. "May I tempt you with one of our specials? We have salted caramel mocha and creme brulee donuts as our specials for today. You know, just in case you're famished too. If that's not your type, tell me what you're in the mood for."

"thank you." tamlin said with a nod and cleared his throat. he looked at her and nodded. "a creme brulee donut sounds good." he said. "i will take that and a simple black tea, thank you."

"Wow! I didn't realize I was asking to be scrutinized! Tell this to your little Steve fan club... I'm his best friend, not his girlfriend! I like girls and I would never like him that way. Now, are you gonna order or do I call security?" Robin raised her voice, obviously irritated by the girl. She was working her shift at the cafe when one of Steve's posse showed up. She turned to the person who was ordering next. "Hey! Nice to see you. Sorry for the hold-up. It'll be my treat cause I feel bad you had to wait for me to deal with them. Okay, so what can I get you?" @ggstarterblog

"uh, no need to apologize, i promise that it is all good." he cleared his throat and looked at robin. "i uh, i don't even remember what i wanted to order, i am so sorry."

"That is true, I feel like anything will hurt less when it comes to falling or being impaled though."

"well, it's been a long time since i've been hurt or impaled or anything like that, but yes, i can agree."

"The thing is, people have tried and it never ends well for them." Emir looked at Tamlin. "She always has something to hold over someone, it's pretty fucking scary, actually."

"that's...that is really...intense and i've been in war before."

Blair looked at Tamlin and said, "Having an off day. It happens to those of us who are human." She looked him over. "Is that okay with you High Fae?"

"yes, i mean, i barley even know who you are, so why would it not be okay with me?"

"You're having a pity party. Aren't you a High Lord? If you are, you're a pathetic one. You need to get out whatever funk you're having and get over it. I don't care how harsh it sounds. I've been through Hel and back, I've almost lost my life to save a whole place, you think I'm going to be nice to you because you have some exes running around? Boo-fucking hoo Tamlin."

tamlin looked at bryce and was quiet for several minutes, but he just nodded. "thank you, i actually really needed to hear that." he said and rubbed the back of his neck. "i'd say you could have worded that more nice, but no, you really didn't need to. i needed it."

" The city is small, it might look bigger but it's not and it's not divided as back home, you're bound to bump into someone from that place." Feyre said, already turning away, not really waiting on Rhys to show himself.

"i know, and i'll still do what i can to avoid all of you." he promised her. "have a nice life, feyre." the last thing he wanted was to deal with rhysand, or anyone that the other high lord might send in his wake. "seriously, i hope you get everything you want out of life while you're here."

"It was fun when my sister posted rumors about people and so on back home, but... " John paused, shook his head "This Gossip Girl seems to be on another level. What's her deal? Does she want to destroy people's life because she thinks it's fun or what? I don't get it"

"your sister posted rumors about you?" he raised a brow at him and then shook his head. "i honestly couldn't tell you. i'm not really one for gossip, i try to stay out of it."

"Meh, I'm fine, it's not the first time I've fallen on ice and it won't be the last time."

"still, falling on ice hurts like hell." tamlin said with a chuckle. "though, it's better than being imapled by ice i guess."

"Oh my God, what is it with you men and your pity parties?" She rolled her eyes and looked at Tamlin. "Womp, womp you didn't get the girl, and now you're wallowing in self pity. Get. Over. It." She told him. "Now, you don't have a choice, High Lord or not, you're going to get drinks with me."

tamlin raised a brow and looked at bryce. "i...i'm not having a pity party, i'm just trying to avoid certain people, and if i go out with you, i could run into them and that is the last thing i want." he said. "okay, then i guess let's go and get drinks."

"That's because that's exactly how she operates."

tamlin shook his head. "that is...beyond pathetic." he said with a dry chuckle. "seems like someone needs to knock her down a peg or two, you know?"

"It's whatever, honestly, she's not the first person to write about Chuck and I, nor will she be the last. I just let her get under my skin and piss me off today."

"well do you always let her get under your skin or was today just an off day for you?"

" Oh no, trust me... I'm not the last." she rolled her eyes at the male. Feyre looked around and through the bond she reassured her mate she was okay, not lying either, he knew about Tamlin. " He's standing out for now, but you know everyone is waiting on you to fuck it up so they have a reason. I don't think we all thought we would see you again, not after everything that went down..."

"you're right, i stand corrected, you're one of the last people i want to see, not the last." he took another step away from her, making sure that if rhys or one of his cronies saw them, they'd know that tamlin was giving feyre a wide berth. "well i've been doing a great job at staying away from all of you. until now."

"I woke up and apparently Chuck and I are having a big argument. Damn, I can't wait to find out what else Gossip Girl knows about my relationship and myself." She laughed and took a sip of her drink. @ggstarterblog

tamlin laughed. "i guess she knows more than anyone is willing to give her credit for." he shrugged. "sorry that she's doing to that to you all though, that is horrible."
