"your sister posted rumors about you?" he raised a brow at him and then shook his head. "i honestly couldn't tell you. i'm not really one for gossip, i try to stay out of it."

"Meh, I'm fine, it's not the first time I've fallen on ice and it won't be the last time."

"still, falling on ice hurts like hell." tamlin said with a chuckle. "though, it's better than being imapled by ice i guess."

"Oh my God, what is it with you men and your pity parties?" She rolled her eyes and looked at Tamlin. "Womp, womp you didn't get the girl, and now you're wallowing in self pity. Get. Over. It." She told him. "Now, you don't have a choice, High Lord or not, you're going to get drinks with me."

tamlin raised a brow and looked at bryce. "i...i'm not having a pity party, i'm just trying to avoid certain people, and if i go out with you, i could run into them and that is the last thing i want." he said. "okay, then i guess let's go and get drinks."

"That's because that's exactly how she operates."

tamlin shook his head. "that is...beyond pathetic." he said with a dry chuckle. "seems like someone needs to knock her down a peg or two, you know?"

"It's whatever, honestly, she's not the first person to write about Chuck and I, nor will she be the last. I just let her get under my skin and piss me off today."

"well do you always let her get under your skin or was today just an off day for you?"

" Oh no, trust me... I'm not the last." she rolled her eyes at the male. Feyre looked around and through the bond she reassured her mate she was okay, not lying either, he knew about Tamlin. " He's standing out for now, but you know everyone is waiting on you to fuck it up so they have a reason. I don't think we all thought we would see you again, not after everything that went down..."

"you're right, i stand corrected, you're one of the last people i want to see, not the last." he took another step away from her, making sure that if rhys or one of his cronies saw them, they'd know that tamlin was giving feyre a wide berth. Feyre was minding her own, grabbing some coffee before work was a ritual now, also taking one for Nesta who was undoubtedly was going to check in on her, the weather was nice and her powers had been back for a couple of days, so she could feel Rhys through their bond and could feel he was happily relaxed back home. So her mind was elsewhere, before hot liquid came splashing all over her. " Not my favorite sundress...." Feyre said before putting the voice to the face. " Not you!" she rolled her eyes, her powers rushed over her, but she was able to contain them, but she was sure Rhys had felt that. " You probably have like two seconds to be gone before he comes over."

"oh trust me, you are the last person i want to see." he told her, and he meant it. "tell rhys i did not mean to spill anything on you, my mind is not with it right now and running in to you was an accident. i've been doing good on avoiding all of you, and i thought manhattan was big enough to keep doing so, but i guess not."

tamlin frowned when azriel spoke to him and he hunt up the phone that he had been on to disconnect the call from the person he had been talking to. "if you weren't aware, shadowsinger, i wasn't talking to you." his lips curled into a snarl. "i want nothing to do with you or any of your friends."

"And yet, here you are, talking to me." Azriel looked at him. "I will give you some advice though; don't think you can get with Feyre just because we're in...this world. Locations might have changed but the past has not."

"i don't want anything to do with feyre, or any of you." tamlin promised him. "i understand what i did was wrong and i'm still working on it, i plan on staying far away from you, all of you."

"oh whoa, and yeah, i'm okay. trust me, it will take a lot more than just bumping into me to tackle me."

Just as Robin grabbed the bread and the eggs, she looked up and froze. Shit. Henry/Vecna/001. That's impossible. Her eyes widened and her jaw went slack as she stared at him because he looked exactly like him. "Hi…" She said slowly and awkwardly, instinctively stepping back as her right hand lifted halfway in defense before she could stop herself. Then it hit her they'd beheaded him. They'd killed Vecna. He's dead. "I'm so sorry." She said quickly, running a hand through her hair. "I just had a very bad experience and I mean really really horrifying literally worst nightmare of my life of an experience with someone who looks exactly like you. I couldn't help but get jumpy. I'm uh Robin. Glad you're not hurt."

he bit his lip when she took a step back, no doubt, she had talked to feyre or someone else from pyrithian first. he hated that, he just wanted to come here, wherever this was, to be a different person. "i'm tamlin, it's nice to meet you." he said. "you're not hurt are you?" he raised a brow.

Robin stepped out of the supermarket with two overstuffed paper bags balanced precariously against her chest, her phone wedged between her shoulder and ear. "Yeah, yeah, mission accomplished. Got the groceries, more like literally drowning in them but I got them. I'll be home in a few. Bye!" She hung up. Robin adjusted her grip, took one step and walked straight into someone.
