As we sat atop Jabal al Kharaz, below the looming sandstone arch, the sun set in the distance. A lone bedouin walked below, across the desert with his two camels.

As the sun rose, I walked through the siq for the second time; the first having been the prior evening by candle-light. The other photographer and I stopped as we rounded the last bend before the Treasury (the home of the Holy Grail... wait, what?), and as we stared a bedouin worker shuffled into view, sweeping up the excess sand.
