What irritated me was a comment complaining how, once again, they are watching a show with so many queer characters where everyone's ending up with the opposite sex again.

And first off, go watch Mighty Nein then.

Second, with Vox Machina it just isn't a valid problem in my eyes because these are played characters, their creators knew what they were fucking doing when they could focus on a single character, their motivations, feelings etc.

If I just stick with the half-elf/human quartet, which is what it seemed to mostly elude to, I deeply enjoy Percy and Vax flirting and Vex teasing Kiki who has a terrible crush on her but even if they got into a relationship, it is so clear it wouldn't work long time (and I'm not dissing anyone who ships it more or writes them as an endgame, I do love that but this is how I see it fully canon wise).

Can I see Vax and Percy as friends with benefits? 100%.

Do I think Vex and Keyleth would date if the opportunity arose. Absolutely.

But their personalities just don't match the way Perc'ahlia and Vax'leth's do and wanting to supress that for the sake of making it queer is stupid and honestly just stinks of biphobia.

For example of what I'm talking about with the two couples being absolutely perfect the way they are.

Both in the stream and in the show Vax clearly absolutely adores Kiki no matter what state she is in. Gorry mess? He kisses her like there is no tomorrow. Did she just throw up because of poison? He gives her the most heart eyes ever because she is alive and she is the badassest motherfucker on the planet. Kiki is a nature person and that will get gross and sweaty and muddy and disgusting and Vax doesn’t fucking care because that is Keyleth and she is awesome and he just fucking loves her.

On the other hand, Vex can take gore and grime but she loves the fancy and the pristine and she loves being a lady and she loves the castle and the city (and I do not mean this to be derogatory, if someone calls her a golddigger or some shit like that I will bite your nose off). Percy basically embodies all of that. He is not only who but what she loves.
