right now im chilling in my TWO BED, TWO BATH APTTTTT, we’re in Alexandria now (not old town, that’s still too pricey) BUT ran& i got engaged this May and bought our first couch ever! it’s super nice, a sectional from joybird in harper cinnamon im obsessed. my ring is so pretty too- ran got it custom made at this cute local jewelry store, the owner has a dog named Popcorn and i cant wait to meet him when we go look at bandzzzz

i made some cute garlands for our living room and our shitty little walmart tree looks so cute in the corner. i really got into xmas this year. there are fake candles in each window too just like i’ve always wanted ahhhhh i loveee

In the corporate world, if you're hired for a higher position (ie, one that requires special knowledge, experience, or skill past the basics of word processing and telephone answering) you are an investment. They want you to be there, and they don't want to fire you and lose that investment.

By the time you're hired, the company has spent thousands of dollars running ads, sorting through applications, doing interviews, checking references, etc. All those hours mean that they don't want to fire you. If you make minor to medium mistakes in your first few months, it's probably going to be okay if you own up to them or ask for help. Don't assault anyone, don't come in drunk, and get your shit done and the vast majority of places will keep you.

There are exceptions; toxic workplaces and bad managers or personality mismatches that mean you aren't going to work out long term. But most places will give you chances. They'll let you know what you need to do to improve, and what you're doing well. They're generally not out to get you.
