I know this is veering a bit from your Pelle expertise so to say, but do you know why Faust didn’t seem to be mad at Snorre for having involvement with Øystein’s death? He even wanted to start up Thorns with him in prison. But Faust seemed to (at least earlier) heavily dislike Varg for what he did so how come not Snorre?
Eh..... Why did he make peace with Varg around early 2000s? There are things about Faust that I don't like and these are some of them
"I believe Snorre wasn't 'psychic present' when it happened (he has got some serious disease in his stomach which can make him very depressed and make him come into a "I don't give a damn about anything" attitude). He has later told me that Euronymous didn't deserve to die though. I chose to believe he was a victim of his stomach-disease" - Faust, 1995 "Due to past actions I think it would be difficult to cooperate with him today. When he choose to participate in the murder of Euronymous he pretty much set the barriers between the two of us" - Faust about Snorre, 2002. "He belongs to a different social-group than me and my friends. He made a terrible mistake. The period of being arch enemies is over but we won`t have anything to do with each other again, I am sure" - Faust about Varg, 2002.
