Hello, 911? I just witnessed a murder.
i label this admin s took too much time on this.
hello! i am doing a small giveaway because christmas is just around the corner and i know that not everybody has a photobook from makestar. so i decided, since i got an extra, iâm just gonna give it away. the giveaway consists of:
one (1) photobook
one (1) poster
the bookmarks
the photocards
special goodies that i will provide
now, keep in mind that it wonât be extravagant, but i do hope that itâll come to your liking. now, on to the rules.
you do not need to be following me. iâm too lazy to look though my followers to see if you all are following me.
you can reblog and like this as many times. it wonât show up as extra. however, i donât think your followers appreciate you spamming them with a giveaway.
no giveaway blogs. thatâs not fair to the people that want it and itâs definitely not fair to me. donât be a douche.
giveaway starts on oct 9th at 12pm pst and closes oct 30 at 12pm pst so plenty of time to procrastinate, but not enough time to do it. so reblog wisely.
only one (1) winner. sorry but i only got one and thatâs how many will win.
and thatâs it. good luck to you all and iâll see you on the flip side.

Idol fans plz explain
Japanese idols are generally contractually forbidden from dating or marrying because as an Idol their personhood is a commodity and they are selling the glimpse of an idea of a potential relationship to lonely otakus.
Idols are meant to be pretty, fun, cute, and flirtatious, so that fans can fantasize about being with them which drives sales of branded merchandize.
An Idol that has romantic or sexual pursuits is no longer perceived as available, in addition to it conflicting with fetishized virginity.
Basically, the Idol industry in Japan is the epitomy of a misogynistic sex-sells industry where the product is a fantasy relationship with a woman who is performing to make herself desirable.Â
Many, many idols are extremely salty about this and will go to great lengths to mock and disparage the system, but they canât do much to get it changed or go against it because their entire career will be destroyed if it is publicly discovered that they have or have had anything close to a relationship or sex.
And the companies absolutely do fire idols who do so, and destroy any potential they have as a career public figure for the rest of their lives. Itâs horrifying.
So, in response for portraying a forever single virgin that canât date, she savagely drags her âfansâ who are more likely actual forever single virgins who will never get a date because they fantasize about getting with a highly fictionalized celebrity personality :v
the fucking burn she unleashed oh my god
me if i see one more person say they gonna fuck the clown

One of the hardest things you will ever have to do, my dear, is to grieve the loss of a person who is still alive.

âYou. Come. Here.â
âM-Me?â
When you go to a haunted house, it may seem like youâre being funny by trying to scare the actors or jump out at them when you go through a second time, but guess what? ITS NOT FUNNY.
You pay us to scare you. It is your choice to go, so donât fucking go through if youâre going to ignore the rules and get too close to the actors as a âjokeâ.
These bruises happened because over the course of 4 hours, several people ignored the instructions that CLEARLY stated that they were to wait in the front room until told otherwise. Rather than listen, they ran into the next room and slammed into me- effectively throwing me into the wall. This didnât only happen once. It happened ten times at LEAST.
Then we had this asshole who thought that once I âdiedâ for the haunt, he could pretend to kick me to see if Iâd moved. I, being used to people abusing me- jumped back and slammed my head into the concrete wall.
YOU ARE NOT FUNNY BY BEING RUDE AT A HAUNTED HOUSE. WE ARE PAID ACTORS THAT YOU CHOOSE TO COME AND SEE PERFORM. YOU PAY US TO SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU, SO DONT HIT US WHEN WE DO
I feel that this is relevant considering it is October and more Haunted Houses are opening up. I know it seems funny to scare the âmonstersâ but all you do is hurt real people. So stop.
Itâs not even October but Iâm still spreading this
SIGNAL BOOOOOOOOSSSSSTTTTT!!!!!!! Now
YeahâŚyour director may want to consider reblocking
We donât have a director? Or blocking??? Itâs a haunted house bro, not a play
Reblogging for relevance-
I work at a Haunted House every October, and have been for the past few years. Our house in particular is staffed by Volunteer workers who are either earning credits for Graduation, or people who know the Family that owns the haunted attraction. In our City, weâre one of two Haunted Houses, so while we open in late September, we tend to get incredibly busy during the month of October and often work from 6pm until 2, 3am on weekends.Â
We do not get paid to help out. Due to our location, we get a lot of drunk guys coming through, and a lot of âfunnyâ teenagers. In my several years working there, Iâve seen Actors get grabbed and thrown, stomped on, kicked, bitten, everything. A lot of the Actors at this attraction are young teenagers, Middle and Secondary School students, so this kind of abuse is terrifying and potentially emotionally scarring.
Thereâs a position half-way through the house we call âPsych Wardâ, and itâs essentially a jump scare. The scare is a corner-room, boxed in with walls and broken windows, that the Actor pops out of and shouts and taunts the people going through. October, 2012, a couple were going through the Psych Ward corner and the scare went off as per usual. The girlfriend of this couple got very startled but laughed it off and continued on. The boyfriend, however, back-tracked and went up to the broken window and punched the Actor in the face for scaring his girlfriend. The Actor, who Iâm going to call Tracy, had a black eye for a good two weeks solid and the couple had to be escorted out of the house and were banned from the property. Ever since weâve ruled that Veteran Actors (someone whoâs been there for 3+ years) are the only ones allowed in this particular Scaring Spot.
He paid to get scared and then got violent when we delivered.
There are so many stories I can tell of ignorant customers banging back on scares and injuring the Actors inside, grabbing props from the actors and hurting them with it, destroying props because they thought it would be âfunnyâ.Â
I just want to raise awareness that the ACTORS ARE STILL PEOPLE. Weâre instructed to get the best kind of scare out of you, sometimes with no pay at all (like this particular attraction), so please respect our work.
We wouldnât come to your job, mock you, and push you around trying to be âfunnyâ. Donât come to our job and do that to us!
my roommate worked at a haunted house and sheâs a very small girl thatâs only about 5"2â who used to act as a small, haunted child. Sheâs been hit numerous amounts of times before, and once, a buff man over 6 feet tall punched her in the face and broke her nose. He was laughing when he did it too, even when he saw my roommate start crying and bleeding. Hurting actors is NOT funny. it makes you the lowest kind of person.

learning korean tips
LEARN HANGUL
please, PLEASE, learn the alphabet. i promise you that itâs not as hard as it looks. I used the app memrise (there are many different resources as well) to memorize it and listen to the sounds. It took me a max of 2 days to completely memorize it and know the basic sounds each letter/syllable makes. This should be the first step in learning korean!
DONâT USE ROMANIZATION
tbh i rlly dislike romanzation and here are the reasons why: romanizaing depends on who is writing the romanization. One word could have a different sound to someone elseâs ears. Also, this only keeps you from actually being able to read and understand korean as a whole. Cutting out romanzation can benefit your speaking, reading, and writing ability! I know some people say it does âhelp themâ but plsâŚjustâŚdonât use it. ALSO PLEASE DONâT USE IT TO âwriteâ IN KOREAN. YOU ARENâT SPEAKING KOREAN BY DOING THAT, WE CANâT UNDERSTAND YOU. JUST USE HANGUL.Â
LOOK UP THINGS IN NAVER
example, if you are watching ur fav korean show and you hear a word that you have heard before but are not quite sure what it means..type that baby into naver dictionary and try to find other meanings too or smaller words made from that word or even try to make sentences with it! Have fun with learning! I personally love learning new words even if its something small like âseal (yâall it means water dog in english in its literal translation isnt that cute af)
KEEP A JOURNAL/DIARY IN KOREAN
honestly this tip helped me so much in my learning. Just idk everyday or week or whenever, just take time to write a sentence or two using the words you learned that day/week and try not to look up words while writing them. After you finish that diary entry, then try to ask yourself questions you might have about then sentence (ex; is this subject particle correct, does this even make sense to me) and then google those questions you have! Maybe if you know someone who is willing to help with your korean they can help make corrections to your sentence(s) as well~
DONâT SET OUTRAGEOUS SCHEDULES AND STANDARDS
setting up a schedule and goals can be a good motivator but making them unreachable can really damage your learning process. Especially if you have little time to realistically study all the time, then donât make your study schedule so crazy! Learning for maybe an hour a day, 3 times a week may seem like a small amount of studying but in the long run you will still see improvement! Donât set big goals like âi want to be fluent in a year!â because tbh, youâre more than likely not gonna be fluent in a year iâm sorry. Set goals like âi want to be able to read this sentence by the end of this week!â because then you donât give yourself a huge work load and stress over something. Take your time! there is really no rush.
TELL PEOPLE ABOUT WHAT YOU LEARNED! HAVE FUN!
listen,, telling people words or things you just learned in a different language is so nice. It helps keep you motivated to keep learning by feeling accomplished. I personally tell my best friend about something I find interesting or I tell my family members (..if they are interested at the time lmao) and I actually get excited about it. Lemme tell you, when I learned the word âë ě¨ (weather)â I told my friend about how I liked how it sounded and how I can use it all the time now and I was just so excited about learning new things! It might seem ridiculous but its really not! Youâre becoming smarter by the minute! I know, sometimes it can get stressful and you just wanna give up but just take a little break and really work with the difficulty, try using different resources and opinions on that thing youâre stuck on! Youâll get it! Donât worry!
