Stuart is a 17 year old exemplary student facing his final year in high school, very concerned about his academic reputation. But bullying, having demanding parents who don't care about his emotional well-being, his worries about the future, and a long-term failed relationship are very monotonous and discouraging aspects of his life.
On the other hand, there's a new student, Murdoc, 21 years old, fed up with school after repeating so many grades. He's someone without prospects, but who seems to experience each moment of his life with emotion.
