Does this feel like home yet, Ragatha?

The context of the scene is a pretty typical anime cliché: after a snow avalanche, she rescues him and they end up in a cabin by the fire. He refuses to be treated, and she yells ‘THAT’S ENOUGH’ at him and takes care of him anyway, kind of forcing him.

After several outfit revisions, I was able to decide on both Ragatha’s and Jax’s clothing, as well as their roleplay dynamic. Even though I had a very clear idea that Jax would be the vampire, it felt a bit cliché for some reason. So I based this illustration on the anime Vanitas no Carte, with Jax as Vanitas and Ragatha as Jeanne.

The idea of Ragatha biting Jax isn’t very pleasant, since in this world it causes unimaginable pain, but despite that, he chooses to endure it to satisfy her.

As expected, Ragatha and Jax’s designs are also based on the medieval era—a time when myths and legends about vampires began to emerge, and many priests started practicing “exorcism” techniques for such creatures.

If I had to express in a few words what I feel about this ship right now, it would be... ✨Empty✨...... BECAUSE I'M NOT BEING CANONICALLY FED WITH THIS PAIRING!!!
