Week 2:

Week 3:
I am to be ✨fucked✨
Week 4: tiddy pain :(
I want to cuddle up with my S.O. during my period. Except I don't have a S.O. Because I'm freaking single as a pringle.
Do you have any advice on how to get a menstrual cup to go further into the vagina? I bought one my last cycle and the very end of the cup sits right at the edge of my vaginal canal. I just really want this to work so I can stop using pads
So during the period the cervix and back of the vaginal canal move lower and so there is less depth. If the cup is in properly and still sticks out, you probably have a particularly low cervix.
What you can do is trim the menstrual cup to make it shorter. It will have less volume but it will fit comfortably. Be sure to give the trimmed edge a bevel. If it’s flat and sharp it will be a bit harder to put in and could damage tissue even though it’s a soft silicone.

You could also get a cup made for people with a low cervix, one is made by MeLuna (MeLuna shorty)
They’re about $26US, but if the cup you already have doesn’t work even with the stem cut off, there’s still options for you to have a menstrual cup. I really hope that trimming helps!
can we please stop referring to tampons and pads as feminine paper holy shit is it obnoxious. it's hard enough dealing with period pain and dysphoria without having to go into the "feminine things" aisle and come out with a box of bright pink pads. women aren't the only ones who menstruate!!!
this rant brought to you from my couch where i'm slowly dying with my heat pack and tea. 😫

Rant #1 of who knows how many
The fact that the only education we get in America about periods is, “when a women’s body sheds the uterine lining” says something. They never talk about what causes the symptoms associated with periods. ·Or the medical problems one can have, like endometriosis. Because all we talk about is “shedding,” people will think that excruciating cramps are normal and not realise that they have a very serious medical condition. ·Or that not only women have periods. Transgender men and nonbinary people have periods, too! Saying only women have periods further alienates the transgender and nonbinary communities. People who might struggle with their body when having their period because it’s a “lady thing.” It also alienates women who do not have periods at all. Saying periods are “a sign of womanhood” are toxic to transgender and nonbinary people, and cis women who have serious medical conditions. YOU ARE NO LESS OF A MAN BECAUSE YOU HAVE A PERIOD. YOU ARE NO MORE OF A WOMAN BECAUSE YOU HAVE A PERIOD. YOU ARE NO LESS OF A WOMAN BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE A PERIOD. ·Or the different methods of period-maintaining one could use. If we all know what our options are, it might help the people who struggle with body or gender dysphoria when they have their period. I would love to see everyone know the variety of products that are available to them. ·Let’s face it, politicians don’t know much about periods or how the uterus works. Neither do most men. Which makes the topic of (uteruses? uteri?) difficult. Some people don’t understand that birth control does a lot more than just prevent pregnancy. Education has a lot to do with that. If we teach little teenage humans more about their genitals, there won’t be as bad of a stigma and people would know the facts when it came to laws that affect their genitals.
anemic and menstruating starring me.
My spouse and I buying disposable menstrual products for the first time:
Husband: These ones say “no bleach!” They put bleach in these things?
Me: Yep.
Husband: We’re getting the bleach-free ones.
To my menstruating homies out there: if your partner isn’t comfortable with your menstruation maybe they shouldn’t be with someone who menstruates.
That was the inclusive version, here’s the old school bitch version: Ladies, if he isn’t supportive of or comfortable with your menstruation, maybe he shouldn’t be with a woman.
If you notice me reblogging

anonymously message me (3) things you want to know about me.
God: there will be a system in place for infant gestation which will inflict pain and discomfort once about every month that will continue to function and cause problems, even if they dont ever use it.
me: hey op do you take constructive criticism
Does anyone know of a good period tracker app that doesn't assume you're female? Would find it really useful to use one but its dysphoria to have it be described as 'for women' etc in the description and everything.
Also would prefer one that doesn't assume you're tracking your period to try and get pregnant but I assume that's also hard to find
There’s Clue. It’s gender neutral (no pink or flowery shit) and you can disable the fertile window tracker. It also doesn’t look anything like a period tracker app so you can feel comfortable if you don’t want others to know you track your period.
I’ve been using it for almost six years and it gives you statistics like average cycle length and variation. I really think it’s awesome, but I’m biased having been using for awhile.
There’s also Spot On by Planned Parenthood, which “doesn’t make any assumptions about your gender, sexual orientation, or reproductive goals.” I tried it when it first came out and wasn’t too impressed, but I’m sure they’ve come a long way since then.
There’s also this retro video game-like tracker app called Cube Period Tracker. It doesn’t look like it has any gendered language (and is gender neutral) and it doesn’t focus on fertility being the main point of tracking.
These are what I believe to be the best ones out there.
Scotland just became the first country to make menstruation products free! (all votes in favour, no abstentions, too, holy shit).
Using gender-exclusive language to talk about menstruation isn’t going to stop people who aren’t women from getting them

Clue locking a bunch of information behind a premium subscription is a big dumb
when you’re supposed to get your period soon so you start wearing dark underwear and then you run out of dark underwear and then your period comes
