Status: Previously on life support due to extensive brain and spinal cord damage. After the successful experiment, the patient's health is recovering at an abnormally fast pace— but, his mental state is unstable so caution is exercised when approaching him.
Procedure: The Wanderer species, Myst Knave, is known to be adept at gathering energy from its surroundings and dispersing it to the other Wanderers around it. Our scientists have discovered that it is possible to divert the absorption route back onto the subject via infusing the Myst Knave's parts with metal.
Subject 133 was implanted with an artificial spinal cord made of said material and immediately started moving his limbs. However, due to the lack of control and stability of the device— the building that held the subject would have their light sources combust, causing many explosions internally.
NOTE: Subject 133 is to kept under observation to prevent further mishaps. He seems to have an affinity with electricity and acts as a point charge for it to flow into, hence creating a large amount of electric potential energy in the surroundings.
BIOGRAPHY:
They say that a soldier's duty is finally laid to rest when one is dead. But Cassian is someone who does not get that luxury. Born into a prestigious family, his Mother and Father were businessmen first and foremost, parents second. Meals that were meant for catching up often turned into their latest investments and plans. Holidays were made into gatherings for members of high society, an exchange in connections. And lastly, love... love was replaced with expectation and acknowledgement.
Ever Group's technology was their proudest commitment, unlike Cassian's decision to join the Farspace Fleet when he had grown of age. He was not surprised, of course. Living decades under the same roof with them had allowed him to garner some expectations of them as well. Or should he say, the lack of expectation thereof.
He remains a stranger to them. Funny how he bore their blood and looks, yet they were so far away.
And they would fail Cassian once more, when he runs into an accident in a Deepspace Tunnel survey with the fleet. Sustaining extensive nerve damage to his spinal cord, they decided to put him on life support— only for them to surrender his entire being to Ever Group's experiments despite it being in its prototype phase.
It was for the betterment of humanity, they would think. A delusion that they continue to convince themselves with when they see their son again.
