I'm having some LoZ thoughts. Specifically Link Between Worlds thoughts. Such as:
Does Lorule having a Demise equivalent? Because if not their history might be even more different than we know about. Or, Even, mean that they aren't stuck in a perpetual reincarnation- attempted destruction, inevitable defeat, repeat in a few hundred years- cycle.
since their Triforce was destroyed and thus was never a key point in a specific person being tied to each part of it the way OOT establishes one for Hyrule, would Lorule even have a definitive reincarnation thing going on?
because like, sure maybe Hilda is like Zelda in always being a reincarnation. and Ravio having the spirit of an old Lorule hero or something the same way Link has the spirit of the hero could make sense.
but like yuga might not be a known ganon-equivalent (he's not even really a ganon equivalent at all, regardless of what happens in lbw. he's more like- idk vaati than ganon) because if he was you'd think Hilda would have- you know- been able to sense his inevitable betrayal the way zelda oot knew ganondorf couldn't be trusted.
unless you think lorule's lacking in blessing from the gods. OR if you agree with my theory that HIlda wouldn't actually have the aspect of wisdom-
and on that note.......do you think the three aspect- wisdom, courage, power- are actually the same for lorule? or more importantly if they are, do you think Hilda, Ravio, and Yuga(maybe) would have each respectively?
bc tbh my hot take about the lorule gang is that they don't have the same aspects as their equivalents in Hyrule.
Because I think of the 3 in lbw the one who fits Wisdom better is actually Ravio. Like firstly- he's actively lacking courage. The fact he was afraid isn't the reason, but the fact he chose to run off and only came back after being inspired by Link's courage, makes me think he doesn't have that trait innately.
But you know what he does have innately? A sense of business- The wisdom to realize Yuga couldn't be trusted and that their- Yuga and HIlda's- plan to take the triforce from Hyrule was bad. Just didn't have the authority nor courage to actually stop them.
Though I want to attribute Hilda to power, I have to admit Yuga is the more obvious one for that since he wanted to take everything for himself to remake the world in his image or whatever. Though thats only if you do think he's the equivalent for ganon outright.
But god wouldn't it be interesting if Power was the force behind Lorule's Zelda equivalent, and she still managed to use that aspect to be a good leader- once the lbw plot is over- in spite or even because of the positive traits that can come from that when you aren't desiring power just to destroy everything. it could also be a good caution to her, internally, that she almost was that exact thing when she made the plan to basically destroy another world for the sake of her own.
regardless i stick by my wisdom-ravio theory i'll die on that hill
but which triangle of the lorule triforce is which you think? like is it rotated, mirrored horizontally, or completely different. no that doesn't actually matter but I want to know nintendo please give me more lorule lore-
