This is very fun to think about!

It sounds like we have pretty similar thoughts on this already - the impression that the end of Tsubasa gave me was that constantly traveling was the price he had to pay to keep existing, so I don't think that would resolve even if he met his parents again. (Though, with endless magic in the universe who knows - someone somewhere could make a wish to fix this, but as it stands I think constantly traveling is just his only path forward)

As for the parents, I don't know if this is touched on at all in World Chronicle so for now I'll just guess. Since the reborn Sakura and Syaoran still kind of exist inside Lava Lamp and Not!Sakura, I think one option for them would be to end up in a dimension where the extra souls can exist separately on their own. A physical body could work, but I could also see it as a more spiritual realm where souls don't really need bodies at all.

An absolute way of how the fox siblings as well as their species show how much they care for someone (as well as viewed as a sign of submission) is by the arching of the neck and presenting it to someone. It's often done when they 'dance' as foxes beneath full moons.

To show your neck as a Kitsune does mean submission yes, but in some ways, it as a deeply personal and intimate act. To do so, it means you are trusting that person completely with yourself and trusting them not to kill you. It can also loosely be translated as bearing their heart to someone.

After the events that took Shizukesa from Yuki and Kichi's Exile, a friendship was struck up between Hajime and Yuki and about ten years later, an oath was taken as he vowed to look after Sora and Tsubasa should anything happen to the Chief, effectively becoming their godfather. Usually in most verses something does, and he's left to be their sworn shield.

Hajime took them in after Yuki's death. He gave them a home and he treats them like they're his own children. He doesn't have to worry for Sora, thankfully. Kazuha has her. But Tsubasa...

Sigh.

Tsubasa has a bit of a reputation of notoriety within the upper echelons of the Clans in Inazuma. Especially during the spring. However, he also has a reputation for causing mischief if not kept in check as most young foxes do.

He is all for enabling some friends in Inazuma City, and joining the Arataki Gang at times if there's a plot brewing. It usually takes the Tenryou Commission showing up or his sister coming to get him.

He can't tell you how many times Hajime, his godfather, has scruffed him and dragged him back home for going too far.
