lazy drabble on what sun and moon were doing before they crossed paths with yn via the portal
before meeting yn, sun and moons previous temp job mission was on a place called snow globe planet. they couldn't find the broken music box they were to fix, and couldn't finish that job because the warlocks hands showed up. and they had to get away.
later they would have to come back and actually complete the tempjob.
(pls excuse any errors, i was just lazy, and wanted to share this)

so sun and moon were doing another temp job as always.
this time they were on a snow globe planet…and their task was to find a broken music box (idk somehow i might add more lore crumbs how this tempjob was odd? perhaps a set up…but not by the warlocks no…someone eles wanted sun and moon to find that music box, it would tell a bit of what happend since sun and moon dont remember being eclipse)
anyways they arrive on the snow globe planet and start trying to look for the broken music box.
sun complains about how its cold here, moon tells him thats dumb they cant even get cold…
sun retorts by saying well he just doesn't like the snow getting all over his rays and boots…the snow was hard enough to walk through to get in here/this building…
moon says and i rather be sleeping but here we are. besides it wasnt that deep and to stop complaining the sooner they get this done the sooner they get paid and can leave.
so they look around… they end up just seeing lots of normal music boxes and not a broken one in sight.
sun says maybe this job was a mistake by temp bot and someone already came and did it but just didn't fill it out? maybe they can steal the credit/steal the pay lol (like wow this job sure was easy it was already done for us lets just get on our way now)
as sun talks, he picks up a music box with a mirror inside and he uses it like a pocket mirror and checks himself out lol. fussing over his rays. saying he’d really would like to revisit that spa/bathhouse planet.
moon's just tired of sun. anyways, moon ends up looking in a dark blue and purple corner of the place and sees a jellyfish themed music box…he's strangely drawn to it the moment he spots its unique design…something about it is giving him a melancholic deja-vu…like he feels something deeply about this music box he cant explain…he then grabs it…and traces his hands over it…suddenly tears well up in his eyes and he feels strange…he falls to his knees in the corner and opens the music box…and the soft melody plays and lil jellyfish swim and spin about the sea themed box…
can't quite remember but lost in a familiar sorrowful feeling.
sun while looking in the small mirror feels something off start to tug at him, he looks and outta the corner of his eye, reflected in the mirror, he sees moon and can see he’s shaking (like the shakiness from crying, you know?)…sun closes the mirror music box and keeps it in his hands. slowly he makes his way over to moon.
sun then feels something with the star shaped chest broach, it dimly glows more n more as he approaches moon
(moons lil broach/ring piece would be glowing very brightly but also flickering cuz of being upset)
“uh heya you alright? ... moon? ... L-Look i didnt mean to add onto your stress with my complaining…if i did… im…”
“Im sorr-!!!”
as sun is about put a hand on moons shoulder to comfort him, suddenly a loud shake rumbles though the whole place!
and a loud roaring of wind is heard, more shaking, and thunderous bangs outside.
a darkness starts to enshroud the planet.
THE WARLOCKS HANDS ARE HERE
sun drops the music box he was holding and it breaks the mirror inside as it clatters on the floor.
suns rushing, n yanking moon up off the floor, shaking moon’s shoulders.
moon snaps out of it pretty quickly and he shouts at sun about the broken music box
sun yells now’s not the time they gotta go NOW!!!
and so que the dialogue from the 1st chapter of them shouting at eachother this time with more context…
moon pauses wondering what location. his eyes land back onto the discarded jellyfish music box.
then theres the reflection of glass lying on the floor from the broken mirror music box…(the broken glass makes a weird collaged reflection of sun and moon kinda resembling eclipse)
main point is that seeing the jellyfish music box and that still being on moons mind, subconsciously…so when sun just forced a portal from moon it led to them landing on the island.
moon had some magical teleporter open and when he saw the music box, the islands location appeared on the magical screen map he had pulled up…and welp it was the only thing clear/safe enough to warp too as other locations were glitching n stuff (the warlocks presence causing interference)…so sun just clicked it
they couldn't jump to temp bots portal she was outside and the warlocks hands were all over the outside of the building/planet…so they had to move where they were right then and there.
Later they return with yn to redo the unfinished job left a mess…(mostly cuz tempbot still had it listed and was oddly insistent they complete it)
with the building being shaken from the warlocks hands it exposed a secret hollow floor panel…
And then they find the real broken music box tucked inside…
The music box is sorta like a lil storybook needing the lil pieces arranged in a certain order for it to work.
Yn quickly figures out the basics on how to fix it. strange luck…
yn was just like “oh! perhaps it's like telling a story and the characters have to go in a certain order?”
“The king on his throne, the witch on her broom, and the prince tucked in his bed."
“Oh that didnt work…must not be the right placement?”
So then the 3 chat, laugh, argue all while trying to see what combo works. Eventually it's a mix of all of there ideas.
Moon placed the princess in the sea
Sun placed the warlock on the throne
And yn placed the prince lost, wandering space…
then the music box plays proper.
the 3 leave… still chatting and laughing as they head to tempbots portal
yn comments on wishing they had a music box of there own…granted they have a special box at home but it plays more than music, and its much bigger… not as small n pretty as the fancy decorated music boxes here though.
sun suggests why not take one (bro is promoting stealing)
moon ofc is against the idea of stealing one…at least from this place…they’ve already made a mess of it enough.
then later that night
moon and sun get strange messages…some strange blue colored envelopes appear, they have a magical digital like pattern to them.
recover memory??? Yes or no…
but it automatically was selected yes for them…
next thing the two know they are blacking out into a deep sleep.
Moons “dream” code vision thing is
sorta a fairytale book.
its a story of a little stardust prince and a young jelly fish witch having fun…but they could only play when the neighboring planet’s (the jellyfish witchs home) tied was at a certain level so the lil witch could hop planets…
the prince proposed maybe making a bubble to stay longer…
The jellyfish wanted to, but was too scared the bubble would pop and they would get lost in space.
But the prince promised that even if that did happen he would be there to catch them and promise to keep them safe…
And Visa versa
the little jellyfish witch promised If he wanted to travel and see them on a floating shooting star she would use her ocean magic to help catch him and soften his landing…
“They promised to look out for eachother…”
the story ends…
a final message is left
“I'm sorry I couldnt keep you safe from my monster”
then a fuzzy scene appears of two hands side by side in a field of flowers
Then suns “dream”
Is a similar storybook fairytale thing…
its a story of a lil prince who was afraid to grow up and claim his throne…instead he wanted to keep playing with his friends and stay going on adventures…so he wished on countless stars…till one day a entity from the dark of space answered his wish…
then the thing ends with some cryptic wordsss oohhhh~
“You cant keep running, the past always catches up and eventually it will cost you everything.”
“One day the game of pretend will come to an end…and you'll have to face it, your monster…your fear”
“for you never kept your part of the deal.”
“From prince to outlaw you still didnt give up you're crown despite saying how you hated feeling bound”
“So what is it you truly want, oh little prince with heart made of stardust.”
i have no clue if this would be in a 3rd or 4th chapter??? of the wip fic? cuz i also wanted to have a purely fun and silly time (no ominous lore foreshadowing) on the cat head planet tempjob (wich has a giant bathhouse on it, aka suns mention of a spa planet)
also the box of yns i was talking about briefly :)
eclipse used to be one person. but ended up splitting into sun and moon.
Specifically what happend was:
yn and clip were meeting in there favorite flower field. but there was a trap awaiting them.
they were both badly wounded
yn sacrafised themselves to save eclipse.
yn gave him their wishing ring. as they did, yn wished for him to live
however eclipse ended up breaking the ring into pieces to split the wish, in hopes he could save yn too/keep yn alive
it did work. the two survived/both lived.
but a wish is harder to grant if its in pieces.
sure you'd get more than one wish or can share it, but if so it tends to have weird results…
the wishing ring kept eclipse alive but also because he broke it to try and save yn too… the now broken, wish ring's magic split him into two beings, aka sun and moon.
THIS WAS MY OLD WISHING RING CONCEPT (plus a pic I could easily get of the real ring from the show)
the ring is currently now in three pieces. (sun, moon, and yn has one)
because of the ring being in pieces sun and moons memorys (or well clips memorys) are fragmented/incomplete (split between the duo they remember different things) meaning they dont fully remember much of there previouse life, at least not in its entirty.
an even more worrysome predicament in the story is that the celestal duo used to both have a ring piece with them but while on one of there last temp jobs (the one right before meeting yn that is) it was to fix a music box on snowglobe planet. but some warlock hands attacked and the duo had to make a frantic escape. in the hurry moon lost his ring piece.
snowglobe planet was the temp-job before the two portal jumped and met yn. that temp-job wasn't completed so they will end up revisiting it later on, at least i had planned for that in my fic…
yn had/has a ring piece too but that ring piece is lost in the ocean...among well alot of yns other stuff is also in the ocean too...wonder how all of that got there? yns been reluctant to deal with any of that stuff proper, been avoiding going to fish it all outta the sea for years.
yns doenst like water for some odd reason ironic considering there love for sea life?
yn lived after the incident but well lets say yn isnt the same as they once were (if you know the show's story, you know *winks) and also because of yn having a broken ring piece there memorys are kinda fragmented too.
sun, moon and y/n don't all exactly remember each other after the ring being broken.
sun and moon only have fragmented memories of there past plus its now alot harder to remember there past since moon lost his ring piece.
for the most part though, they've just been assuming there new identities as sun and moon respectively.
lil more on the split memory thing between sun and moon. they both remember some stuff but they each have different memories of clips. like one has this memory and the other has another memory. most of the time for them its weird deja vu or they have strange dreams. as well as they remember alot more than/compared to what yn does.

and again also theres yns strange aversion to the water... they will look at the sea just fine from time to time… but they prefer to watch the seaside sunsets from a cliffside near there home…not usually ever wanting to go down to the sandy beach shore.
(and then there all the broken scatterd space ship parts all about the island. there's lots under the water especially…its all not exactly yns stuff its some of the glamrocks too)
IT WOULD MAKE ALOT MORE SENSE IF YOU WATCHED THE SHOW BEE AND PUPPYCAT, IDK I JUST DONT WANNA SPOIL TO MUCH.
SLIME RANCHER AU

ok now we have some other lore here too!!!
all the animatronics are like a werid combo of robotic stuff and magic slime goop. specifically the glams rocks have an atificial slime (nano slime as im calling it) its a fake slime with tiny TINY mechanical bits/microchips in it and it can be any color. and becuase its fake slime its how they are water proof , unlike sun and moon…
see now with sun and moon. the dca are made of direct slime samples. the slime in them is not exactly artifical it was created from (ethically sourced) slime residue from real slimes. (the lil creatures are constantly bouncing off things and leaving slime trails) so its a mix of real slime dna mixed with some nano slime as a base. its how the two have slight slime abilitys.
moon has hunter and sloomber slime infused into him (and a lil angler too, is how moons a tiny-est bit water resistant) and sun has yolky and hyper slime infused into him! (with a hint of fire slime as well, rly keep sun away from water!)
(eclipse had puddle slime in him so he's unaffected by water! :D )
so thats why moon has hunters invisbilty (and some sloomber abilitys hes yet to tap into) and sun has hyper slime powers wich just give him lots of energy boosts (also a accidental yolkie and hen hen magnet lmao, but in general though yolkies just like him and naturaly gravitate towards him pfpfpf. they want to know the secrets to achiving his egg-stra cooked yolky likeness XD)
clip was originally made with mostly puddle and tangled slime. but after being damaged and easily being exposed to the natural anomolies of rainbow island/grey laybrynth it changed his infused slime to be more liken to that of mosaic (wich is what saved him/kept him alive the crystalization patching up the majority of damages, but stuff still needs to be repaired plus hes a bit glitchy.)
his puddle slime residue was replaced with mozaic slime, idk i'd still think hes somewhat water proof but that's because of the hard crystal casing parts of his body currently (as well as he probs has some extra weirdness from prolonged twin slime exposure.)
so eclipse has pretty rainbow crystals on his body as well as his tangled aspects have overgown a bit. in a way id like to thing he looks a lil claimed by rainbow island nature :D
ALSO glam-bonnie in this au is alive just VERY TAR INFESTED, bascially all his nano slime is infected with tar goo and hes corrupted. he needs to be blast with stronge magic water and probs have his nano slime replaced.

i had some rough ideas for possible kid/past designs!!!
It’s might be hard to tell but it’s yn > sun > moon > clip > yn again/extra
now onto the lore stuff.
moons had his curse since he was little btw!!!
sun doenst know of moons curse. moon kept it hidden from sun even when they were young.
moon especially is instistant on keeping his curse hidden as he doesnt want sun to have any more worrys or see sun upset (again).
sun didnt take things well when eclipse just up and left/moved without any words.
the three used to be close as kids but eventually the twos relations with clip just grew more distant.
despite moon trying his best to gently tell sun that he was going to move a little bit just to set up his new garden home. sun was very anxiouse, moon was still staying in the town, but sun couldnt help but get worried/have a little scare. sun instisted on helping moon, but moon kept insiting he was fine and could handle it on his own.
berry sun centric rambles!
suns 24/7 filled with worrys behind his sweet and cheerful demeanor. he tries his best to hide most of his worries but hes still embarrassed when his mask slips up sometimes or he cant hold back tears pricking his eyes.
he also gets quite worred with yn hiding there curse too. sun just deeply cares for his friends and wants to make sure they are alright.
he of course was super worried when finding out of yns curse (the last thing he wants was to make yn scared and runaway again he just wants yn to feel safe and accepted)
suns tends to be a bit coddling/worrys like a mother hen over yn and moon.
i was and currently am still on the fence here, im not sure if i should give sun a curse or not. i did have a rough idea for a possible cursed form, which would give him HUGE butterfly wings and 4 arms and a bunch of other lil bug features.
i also had some names i pondered when referring to berry au sun and moons cursed forms. those being blueberry owl harpy for moon and sweet/sorrowful sugar-fly for sun (idk but also sun-bug sounds cute and could work too?)
hypothetically speaking…suns last straw so to speak for his curse would be finding out moons been hiding his curse. SPECIFICALLY MOON WAS AFRAID OR DIDNT TRUST THIS INFORMATION WITH SUN and moons kept this for years… alone...that combined with sun fearing pushing yn away and the fact his other childhood friend clip just left without any words...suns curse would suddenly manifest fully. and he becomes a sad, clingy, bug monster thing. (pls calm the poor sun-bug down and reassure them everything is fine and no ones abandoning leaving them again)
ok now a final lil less sad crumb of lore. sun would be a happy crying mess if they saw clip again, overjoyed and trying there best not to run at him, grab him in a big tackle hug and spin him around.
sun does friequently hug n spin moon and yn around though :3
i also would love to think sun has a bunch of cute silly nicknames he'd use for yn and moon. <3
how can we stop google from shutting down android or whatever it is they're doing. How can we prevent this
There's some basic things you can do
Download stuff like f-droid and use them and give them support in these trying times
You can also try contacting your regulators and telling them to stop google from doing this
sign petitions, share petitions
Spread the word about all of this stuff and why it matters so much, don't let people think this is okay and that android shouldn't be forced through this.
Don't let people who think google is unstoppable, they can be stopped, you just gotta fight hard

Moons “dream” code vision thing is
sorta a fairytale book.
its a story of a little stardust prince and a young jelly fish witch having fun…but they could only play when the neighboring planet’s (the jellyfish witchs home) tied was at a certain level so the lil witch could hop planets…
the prince proposed maybe making a bubble to stay longer…
The jellyfish wanted to, but was too scared the bubble would pop and they would get lost in space.
But the prince promised that even if that did happen he would be there to catch them and promise to keep them safe…
And Visa versa
the little jellyfish witch promised If he wanted to travel and see them on a floating shooting star she would use her ocean magic to help catch him and soften his landing…
“They promised to look out for eachother…”
the story ends…
a final message is left
“I'm sorry I couldnt keep you safe from my monster”
then a fuzzy scene appears of two hands side by side in a field of flowers
Then suns “dream”

its a story of a lil prince who was afraid to grow up and claim his throne…instead he wanted to keep playing with his friends and stay going on adventures…so he wished on countless stars…till one day a entity from the dark of space answered his wish…
then the thing ends with some cryptic wordsss oohhhh~

also i have a sun design for this au!!! and a moon too if ya wanna see
i didn't really have any fancy names for these two versions, as i didn't think they differ that much from each other... i just wanted to know what you all think looks better. EDIT: LOOKS LIKE VER #1 WON!!! so i guess that's the "official" design but honestly if ya like the 2nd that is perfectly fine too

im also a lil uncertain about the hat, ehh ill think of it more like an optional thing...i tried to have it based off some of the older strawberry shortcake designs where lots of the character have these sorta style hats.
although feel free to make your own Y/N design for this au i mean its a self insert after all…you don't have to stick with mine. honestly there's just so many possibilities with something like strawberry shortcakes setting, just pick a fruit, a flower or a sweet and your good lol.
i tried to make this Y/N's design based off spices n stuff like dried citrus, cinnamon, flowers and also shortbread jam cookies

first off here's why y/n has fluffy ears and a tail (extra lore post)
so Y/N was just passing through this small town one day (maybe already delivering something idk) when they decided to stop by suns shop for a break. While in the town They end up sort of becoming a delivery person for sun and moon.
Y/N was sorta already a delivery person, just doing odd jobs around the area really, when they just sorta fell into an odd habit and unofficially became the town's delivery person. So they ride around on their bike doing quick deliveries here and there, they mostly deliver stuff back and forth between sun and moon.
idk i was thinking maybe a bike like one of these…
While Y/N often delivers back and forth a lot with sun and moon (sun's shop is one of their main spots for deliveries) they also have other delivery places they go to around the town.
Y/N lives on the outskirts of the town, closer to the woods more so, they sorta have a little quiet spot by a small syrup lake and orange maple forest/woods area.
