HERE WE GO CHAPTER 2 (WIP) FOR THE PUPPYCAT AU FIC!!!
@little-stars-writing-club so i ended up writing a little something based off this month's prompt. (i had been working on this since the 1st) this is my first time actually sitting my fluffy marshmallow butt down and writing something that isnt an outline/bulletpoint of sorts or even just a jotted down idea paragraphsā¦i admit this still feels pretty scary to me but i also think its good i try to push past my anxieties a little bit.
December Theme: Y/N saves DCA mers from being caught in a net on a beach
Title: Mers of The Slime Sea
Word count: (chapter one 1,767)
chapter two here!
befor getting into this i will say i was moreso⦠i guess inspired by the prompt⦠that is to say do i think i followed said prompt perfectly NOPE :) is this perfect or impeccable writing nahā¦but i do rly like the idea i ended up writing about, this was just all in good fun. this is basically about my dca slime rancher auā¦i ended up with an idea for making a mer au for it.
You both loved and hated your job. Donāt get anyone wrongāthe sights were breathtaking, from the multicolored trees to the sparkling hues of vibrant flora and the natural beauty of the surrounding islands. The glistening slime sea was a marvel, and donāt even have someone get you started on the view of the sky on this planet. You could go on for hours about how the sunsets and sunrises of the Rainbow Islands are mesmerizing; you would find a nice cliff to sit by and stare at the sky for hours, if only your job allowed you more time to truly take it all in. But no, you were always busy and couldnāt afford to get distractedāunfortunately. While you could look around, you always disliked how you never had the chance to really explore before having to jump to the next part of the Rainbow Islands on your daily rotation. The islands were stunning. You just wished you could have more time to take it all in.
anywaysā¦here we go! :D
@luckyyyduckyyy guess who finally decided to write, WRITE something! (An attempt was made š š)
Today seemed like it was turning out to be just another one of those days. Here you were, by one of the ranching beaches of the Rainbow Isles. The calming sounds of the Slime Sea, its rich, salty yet sweet smell, the glistening water, vibrant land coral, and stunning rock formations all called out to you. You sighed, wishing you could sit here for an hour or two to take it all in. Looking for shells or sea glass along the beaches would be incredible too, but NOPEāyou had to focus on the task at hand and couldnāt get carried away. Well, maybe a little searching for sea glass wouldnāt hurtā¦
This afternoon, you were assigned to inspect some new technomatic nets that the off-planet lab wanted to test. You were informed that these nets are designed to mostly function as corrals for water-based slimes. The nets serve to help free up more ranching space and can even act as protective barriers around certain parts of the rainbow islands as well, preventing wild land-based slimes from accidentally falling into the depths of the sea.
You shiver at the thought, feeling a light tug at your heart, as you recall the times you've seenāor even inadvertently sentāa poor, unsuspecting slime over a cliff. Even you have been prone to accidentally running too fast or making a sharp turn, only to end up face-first in the embrace of the slime sea.
As you make your way down to the beaches by the Slime Sea, you let your mind wander a bit. Approaching the shore, the artificial neon glow of the techno-matic nets stands out against the natural beauty of the Slime Sea. Large metal buoys bob foreignly in the unwavering waves. You adjust your pack slightly and crouch down for a closer look at the nets. Eventually, you sit on your knees, holding your Game Boy-like device in your hands to scan the nets and ensure everything is in order. However, you can't help but get distracted by the scenery once more. Metaphorically speaking, you feel drawn out to sea by the gentle splashes of water, a light breeze wafting through the beachside, and the adorable slimes frolicking carefree around you.
A smile spreads across your face as you notice the variety of slimes. A few puddle slimes are happily swaying with the gentle waves in one of the enclosed techno-matic net corrals; some of them are even asleepāhow adorable! You turn back to your work and quickly inspect a few of the nets. Everything seems to be functioning well, with not a single issue. Along the way, you get to pet a few puddle slimes and collect some sea glass as you walk down the line of nets, inspecting each one along the coral beach.
As you continue, your gaze wanders, and you spot a few angler slimes here and there. Sometimes, these slimes accidentally make themselves and nearby slimes dizzy with their flashing lures, prompting you to chuckle. Then you notice the familiar sight of several rock and pink slimes. You shake your headāno matter where you go, pink slimes seem to be everywhere. You also see a few sea chickens, but who knows how long they will stick around. As you take note of the sea chicken closest to you, a pink slime suddenly slides forward and gobbles it up before you can even blink. Your expression shifts to a mix of shock and a hint of fear⦠those pink slimes and their insatiable hunger!
Just as you think everything is going smoothly, you notice something odd at the end of the row of netsāa bright yellow fish? Was it even a fish? How did it get caught in the net? You thought these nets were only meant for slimes. Granted, not much is known about what lives in the Slime Sea... but you know you need to free whatever little critter is stuck. You straighten up and walk over quickly, skipping a few nets in between until you reach the last glowing net. At first, you think it best to report this to the lab, but as you get a clearer view of what's caught, your thoughts are completely thrown for a loop.
You blink in surprise, your eyes wide and mouth agape. At first, you only caught a glimpse and thought it was a single brightly colored fish. But closer inspection reveals two small, colorful fish-like creatures trapped in a neon net, their glittery fins shimmering against the glow of the net and the sparkle of the waves. These little beings are unlike anything you've seen before. You quickly refocus and start working to free the creatures from the net, stepping into the water and letting your clothes get a little wetānothing you canāt handle.
As you bend down to the net, the two little fish stop their frantic thrashing. They freeze and look at you. They are so small that you think they might be little guppies. One of them is a mix of vibrant warm colorsāyellow and orangeāwith some red fins. Its pretty rays resemble a sun around its round face. The other fish showcases an array of cool colors with its blues and purples, and an unusually striking white crescent-like marking stands out against its blue body, reminding you of the moon.
You decide to help the yellow, sun-like guppy first, as it seems to be in greater need of assistance. The poor thing has its head stuck in the net, and its rays seem to be the main reason it got caught. As you slowly approach, reaching your hands out, the little yellow guppy begins to panic again, trying to squirm its head out of the net. You can't help but gently speak to the guppy in hushed tones, even though you doubt it can understand; perhaps your tone will convey that you mean no harm. You carefully cup your hands around the little guppy, and it stills. You can feel it moving slightly as it tries to peep up at you while you lift it out of the net. It works! It appears these little fish are similar to slimes, which is why the net doesnāt seem to let them pass through. By wrapping your hands around them, you manage to obstruct the techno-matic net and free the fish.
With a smile, you gently place the yellow guppy back into the water. Then you quickly move to free the blue guppy from the net. This one has its torso caught in the middle of the net, along with what looks like a small nightcap squished against its body. However, unlike the yellow guppy, this blue one seems much more aggressive. It flails violently as you try to get closer, even attempting to bite you a few times. You quickly position your hands as close as possible to block enough of the net to allow the blue fish to escape. Your hands create a barrier that enables the blue fish to swim off in a glittery blur to join its yellow companion.
The two little fish keep their distance, yet they still stare at you with their small eyes. You think for a moment, your gaze shifting from the glowing green nets to the colorful guppies. It wouldnāt be good to leave them here; itās likely they could get caught in the nets again. The only place you know where the nets havenāt been set up is closer to the conservatory, but that will be a long trip to relocate them. You wonder how you can transport them safely. Then, an idea hits you: your pack! It can hold water just fine. Perhaps you could open the back compartment and fill it with water, like some kinda fish backpack. Yeah! That could work! You think to yourself, The only downside is that you wonāt be able to use your vacuum pack to collect anything, but aside from that, it should be perfect for carrying the guppies.
Hurriedly, you slide the star-shaped pack off your shoulders and pop open the back. You fill the storage chamber with water and quickly scoop up the little guppies.
Holding the pack up to your face, you see the two guppies bewildered in their new container. The yellow one looks at you with wide white eyes, curious yet a lil fearful, while the blue one narrows its little yellow eyes and pouts. You gently bring the vacuum pack a little closer and reassuringly say, āDonāt worry! Iāll get you little ones back to the slime sea in no time, free from any nets!ā You let out a little laugh and give a wink to the fish as you show them a small thumbs-up. You have no idea if they can understand what you're trying to convey, but you canāt help but express yourself nonetheless.
Carefully sliding the improvised fish pack onto your back, you make your way out of the water and onto the dry shore, trying to be quick but careful with your new fishy friends. You hope to return to the conservatory before nightfall. While the rainbow islands are beautiful, they can also be very dangerous at night with ferals lurking about and the chances of tars being higher. You consider using the teleporters, but quickly end up deciding against it, too uncertain about what might happen to the little guppies.
Soooā you'll just have to take the longer route. can't be that hard, you practically know the rainbow islands like the back of your hand...yeah...you'll get back to the conservatory before the sun even sets!

Title: Mers of The Slime Sea
Word count: (chapter two 2,553 )
chapter one here
walking quickly, you navigate through the tall rock walls and vibrant coral. Your steps transition from sand to soft, colorful grassy meadows, and the sounds of the slime sea fade into the background as you move further along. You do your best to keep the pack on your shoulders steady, wanting to ensure a smooth ride for your little fishy companions. Giddy with excitement, your thoughts race with the possibilities of what youāve discovered. You've always wanted to know more about the mysterious slime sea, and these two little guppies are quite fascinating and very adorable. Part of you wonders if showing them to the lab at the conservatory might lead to an exciting breakthrough. This thought fuels your determination to maintain your fast pace before the sun sets.
As you traverse the winding path through the grassy and rocky field, the sun is already starting to lower more and more in the sky. You decide to pull out your handheld device and check your map, searching for the safest route that wonāt require much climbingāideal for keeping the guppies secure in your makeshift fish-carrying pack. Fortunately, the conservatory doesnāt seem too far away, and the path youāve chosen should be a relatively straight shot, easy to walk with no climbing or jumping... perfect. However, you fail to notice the numerous wooden signs warning of feral creatures in the area as you remain focused on your digital map.
Hooking your device back onto your belt loop, you look up to see where you were wandering. A dreadful realization begins to dawn on you as a small pit forms in your stomach. The sun is setting much faster than you had thought, or maybe it was just harder to tell with the large rock walls on either side of you. The narrow, dark space youāve found yourself in heightens your worry with each step you take. You can't help but quicken your pace, but in hindsight, maybe that wasn't such a good idea. Perhaps you should have turned around and tried a different route, avoiding the risk and continuing forward.
As you sharply turn a corner, your heart nearly leaps out of your chest when you bump directly into a group of feral slimes. You quickly pull your face back, narrowly avoiding a collision with a feral slime that just emerged from the surrounding rocks. The ravenous largos charge at you, and in a panic, you attempt to turn around, only to trip and fall forward. Your knee pads scrape against the stone floor, and your hands instinctively push down to help bounce you back up onto your feet. Frantically, you scuttle away, trying to put as much distance as possible between yourself and the growing horde of ferals.
With little time to think, you must act quickly. Spotting an opening in the rocky walls, you realize it might lead to another cave system or simply serve as a hiding spot until the ferals pass. Either way, itās your best option. You start barreling towards it, clutching the straps of your pack tightly to your shoulders. You duck and dodge as best you can, avoiding a few largos that leap toward you, trying to take a bite. Fortunately, you make it to the opening and escape just in time.
It's another cave tunnel, and there even appears to be a small river flowing through it. You venture in a little deeper, and as the adrenaline begins to wear off, you soon find yourself taking a breather against a wall. You remove your pack and gently place it beside you on the floor. Slumping back, you hit the wall and slide down to sit, your legs sprawled out in front of you. You felt like a hen hen trying to escape a pink slime back there. Letting out a weary breath, you realize youāre tired and need to gather your bearings after that unexpected scare. Most importantly, you need to check on the little guppies. You hope they're alright; things got really crazy, and youāre sure the ride wasnāt pleasant for them. Heck, the view was probably even scarier. Poor thingsā¦
You gently grab your star-shaped pack and place it in your lap. Looking down, you see the two guppies huddling close together; they appear to be holding each other. Yeah...the poor things were definitely frightened back there. You whisper reassuringly and gently coo at the guppies, telling them that everything is alright now and that they are safe. The yellow guppy, who had been keeping its eyes shut, slowly peeks one eye open and looks at you for a moment before relaxing a bit and opening both of its little pearly white eyes. Meanwhile, the blue one still holds its fishy companion and glares at you with its yellow eyes. It seems the little blue guppy isn't too happy about what happened, but it does calm down a little.
Reaching down to your side with one hand, you take a moment to look at your map, wondering where you have found yourself amidst these purple caves with softly glowing crystals scattered about. It's definitely nighttime now. A glance at one of the top corners of your map confirms that much to your dismay. So much for "getting back to the conservatory before sunset," you mutter. There's no way youāre stepping outside now. The likelihood of running into more ferals or some potential Tars is too high, and getting lost is a risk you dare not take. It seems best to wait it out in these caves for a moment and maybe follow the river. Judging by the map, it looks like that might be your best bet for getting closer to the conservatory. Plus, it should be safer; you can easily splash some of the cave water at any feral slimes or Tars that might appear while you're venturing. Your chances of reaching the conservatory quicker will be better that way.
So, you start to get up, preparing to put your pack over your shoulders once more. As you do, you take a moment to talk to the guppies. "Don't worry, we're almost to the conservatory, and then you little guys will be back to the sea in no time." You canāt help but keep talking to the little fish; youāve grown quite fond of them. You think back to how, at first, you considered taking them to the lab, but now you believe it's best to just return them straight to their home, the slime sea.
You continue through the twisting and winding caves, the soft glow of the crystals mostly lighting your way. Here and there, you even spot a couple of glowing plants and small lava pools. You do your best to stay close to the cave river as you move forward. Along the way, you encounter many sights as you get closer to the conservatory: beautiful rock formations draped with hanging vines, part of the river splitting off to create a waterfall, and a delightful colony of batty slimes residing in the caves. A little further on, you even come across a few phosphors, crystal and rock slimes, and, of course, a pink slime here and there.
Eventually, you decide to take a break. You carefully set your pack down and sit on the cool cave floor once more. Placing your pack into your lap, you check up on your little fishy companions. They seem to be doing quite well; in fact, they appear to have been comfortably asleep until you woke them up. āOops,ā a silent, apologetic smile tugs at your lips. You quickly pull out your map to see how close you are to the conservatory. Wow, youāre not far at all! In fact, there should be an exit to the cave nearby that will pop you out right by the base of the hill where the conservatory is. āSweet!ā you exclaim to yourself as you do a little fist pump. However, you quickly feel the two little pairs of eyes from your fishy friends looking at you. You respond with a small smile, saying, āJust a little farther, and youāll be back in the sea, okay?ā
Just as you close the map and are about to put your game boy device away, an idea hits you! A rush of surprised excitement floods your face. You should take a picture of the guppies! Why didnāt you think of that sooner? It would be a great way to still have something to show the lab, and youād have something to remember this encounter. Quickly, you turn your device on its side and open the camera feature; luckily, there isnāt a flash option.
You snap a photo of the two guppies and then turn the device around to show them the photo. The blue guppy immediately seems to dislike the camera and goes invisible, much to your surprise. Your eyes widen, and your mind starts running off again. You had no idea they could do thatāwas it just the blue fish? What abilities did the yellow one have? In between your rushing thoughts, however, you end up figuring that the blue one probably won't allow you to take more pictures. As for the yellow guppy, it appears to be squishing its little face against the clear window of the pack, intrigued by the picture. You canāt help but gently place a finger up to the glass next to the yellow fish. It looks at your finger with curiosity and ends up holding a little fin against the glass right where your finger is. So cute! You wish you could keep them longer, but alas, you have to return them to the seaāthat's their home, after all.
As soon as you put away your Game Boy device, the blue guppy suddenly stops being invisible and shoves the yellow guppy out of the way. It tries to bite your finger unsuccessfully. Instead, the blue guppy can only squish its mouth against the window of the pack. Before long, the yellow guppy retaliates by smacking its little hands in the blue oneās face, trying to get it to stop. A wave of chuckles escapes you, and you try to boop the little faces of both guppies through the packās window to break up the squabble.
Unfortunately, the lighthearted moment takes a quick turn as a dark, slimy substance with a multicolored sheen splatters onto your shoes, and an ominous presence looms nearbyātar slimes...
Much to your dismay, a group of tar have formed in the caves. Fear instantly fills you, and in a knee-jerk reaction, you kick at the tar slime in front of you. It's not very effective, but it creates just enough distance for you to quickly swing your pack onto your back. The front of your shoe is now covered in the tar's residue, but you don't have much time to think about it. Right now, your only focus is to get to the conservatory. You bolt off, running and sharply turning corner after corner in a desperate attempt to keep track of the riverāthe only water source in the cave that can help protect you against the tar slimes and guide you to the exit.
The sound of multiple tar growling behind you only adds to your rising panic. For a moment, you think maybe you should swing your pack around and hold it in front of you for the guppies' sake as well as your own. You try to run faster to get ahead enough to shift your hold on the pack. Just as you think you can stop, however, you're horrified to see another large tar appear in front of you, trying to jump at you. In a moment of panic, you fall backwards, landing in the river water with a huge splash.
But like the large splash of water, a sudden wave of relief washes over you as the tar in front of you, along with a few behind, all burst into shimmering rainbow remains. Much too focused on the vanishing tars, you fail to notice two small blursāone yellow and one blueāswimming away with the cave river waters.
The river has rid of the tar slimes for good, it seems. Meanwhile, it feels like the wind has been knocked out of you from the scare you've just endured. You let yourself flop backwards and lie in the cool water for a moment, closing your eyes to recollect yourself.
As you do, you canāt help but feel the warm, bright light of the sun shining into the cave from a large opening. Your eyes shoot open, filled with tears of joy. You scramble to get up. "THE CONSERVATORY! WE MADE IT!" you shout. But then, an overwhelming feeling of dread rushes over you, and the water around you suddenly feels icyāthe guppies...
Worry and panic are quickly returning. You frantically scan the cave river for your pack. Turning around, you find it broken openāthe guppies are gone.
Your mind is a whirlwind. While youāre glad to be safe, youāre upset about losing the little guppies. As you tread out of the cave, soaked and with a broken pack, you stop for one last moment to look back. Your thoughts flood in: Maybe you should have let the guppies swim away at the coral beach despite the nets, or waited with them and contacted someone... Did you put the guppies at more risk? The rivers should lead back to the slime sea, but those are just guppies, and there are dangerous slimesāmore tar could still be lurking in the caves an-
Your worries linger, but first things first: you need to go to the conservatory and get your pack fixed. Then, as soon as possible, you're headed straight back to search the caves.
As you walk away from the cave opening, you canāt shake the feeling that eyes are staring at you as you leave. Perhaps itās just the cotton and pink slimes inhabiting the surrounding meadow. You brush it off and focus on returning to the conservatory. The bright morning sun warms your body a little from the cold water.
lil extra :D
as you walk outta the cave the little guppies pop their head up from behind a rock. they two looking as you leaveā¦who knows maybe you will see eachother againā¦
you did go back and look in the caves for the guppies and it seemed very likley that they found their way back to the slime seaā¦
A/N: the guppies are alright they followed the river and ended up in the parts of the slime sea surrounding the conservatoryā¦they stick around and watch yn from afar after. they also stick around the area as there are no nets near the conservatory currently... but perhaps in future there might be one or two closer to the place and maybe yn gets a call to fix some of these aquatic slime nets/corrals because something has been breaking them? its assumed its tars or ferals but its actually moonā¦also maybe some drones wandering to close to the slime sea have gotten lost or returned damaged and covered in unknown slime??? i like to think sun mostly does this⦠the drones return safe when its sun but if moon has caught one its usually destroyed and never found.
lazy drabble on what sun and moon were doing before they crossed paths with yn via the portal
before meeting yn, sun and moons previous temp job mission was on a place called snow globe planet. they couldn't find the broken music box they were to fix, and couldn't finish that job because the warlocks hands showed up. and they had to get away.
later they would have to come back and actually complete the tempjob.
(pls excuse any errors, i was just lazy, and wanted to share this)
READ FULL DRABBLE
so sun and moon were doing another temp job as always.
this time they were on a snow globe planetā¦and their task was to find a broken music box (idk somehow i might add more lore crumbs how this tempjob was odd? perhaps a set upā¦but not by the warlocks noā¦someone eles wanted sun and moon to find that music box, it would tell a bit of what happend since sun and moon dont remember being eclipse)
anyways they arrive on the snow globe planet and start trying to look for the broken music box.
sun complains about how its cold here, moon tells him thats dumb they cant even get coldā¦
sun retorts by saying well he just doesn't like the snow getting all over his rays and bootsā¦the snow was hard enough to walk through to get in here/this buildingā¦
moon says and i rather be sleeping but here we are. besides it wasnt that deep and to stop complaining the sooner they get this done the sooner they get paid and can leave.
so they look around⦠they end up just seeing lots of normal music boxes and not a broken one in sight.
sun says maybe this job was a mistake by temp bot and someone already came and did it but just didn't fill it out? maybe they can steal the credit/steal the pay lol (like wow this job sure was easy it was already done for us lets just get on our way now)
as sun talks, he picks up a music box with a mirror inside and he uses it like a pocket mirror and checks himself out lol. fussing over his rays. saying heād really would like to revisit that spa/bathhouse planet.
moon's just tired of sun. anyways, moon ends up looking in a dark blue and purple corner of the place and sees a jellyfish themed music boxā¦he's strangely drawn to it the moment he spots its unique designā¦something about it is giving him a melancholic deja-vuā¦like he feels something deeply about this music box he cant explainā¦he then grabs itā¦and traces his hands over itā¦suddenly tears well up in his eyes and he feels strangeā¦he falls to his knees in the corner and opens the music boxā¦and the soft melody plays and lil jellyfish swim and spin about the sea themed boxā¦
can't quite remember but lost in a familiar sorrowful feeling.
sun while looking in the small mirror feels something off start to tug at him, he looks and outta the corner of his eye, reflected in the mirror, he sees moon and can see heās shaking (like the shakiness from crying, you know?)ā¦sun closes the mirror music box and keeps it in his hands. slowly he makes his way over to moon.
sun then feels something with the star shaped chest broach, it dimly glows more n more as he approaches moon
(moons lil broach/ring piece would be glowing very brightly but also flickering cuz of being upset)
āuh heya you alright? ... moon? ... L-Look i didnt mean to add onto your stress with my complainingā¦if i did⦠imā¦ā
āIm sorr-!!!ā
as sun is about put a hand on moons shoulder to comfort him, suddenly a loud shake rumbles though the whole place!
and a loud roaring of wind is heard, more shaking, and thunderous bangs outside.
a darkness starts to enshroud the planet.
THE WARLOCKS HANDS ARE HERE
sun drops the music box he was holding and it breaks the mirror inside as it clatters on the floor.
suns rushing, n yanking moon up off the floor, shaking moonās shoulders.
moon snaps out of it pretty quickly and he shouts at sun about the broken music box
sun yells nowās not the time they gotta go NOW!!!
and so que the dialogue from the 1st chapter of them shouting at eachother this time with more contextā¦
moon pauses wondering what location. his eyes land back onto the discarded jellyfish music box.
then theres the reflection of glass lying on the floor from the broken mirror music boxā¦(the broken glass makes a weird collaged reflection of sun and moon kinda resembling eclipse)
main point is that seeing the jellyfish music box and that still being on moons mind, subconsciouslyā¦so when sun just forced a portal from moon it led to them landing on the island.
moon had some magical teleporter open and when he saw the music box, the islands location appeared on the magical screen map he had pulled upā¦and welp it was the only thing clear/safe enough to warp too as other locations were glitching n stuff (the warlocks presence causing interference)ā¦so sun just clicked it
they couldn't jump to temp bots portal she was outside and the warlocks hands were all over the outside of the building/planetā¦so they had to move where they were right then and there.
Later they return with yn to redo the unfinished job left a messā¦(mostly cuz tempbot still had it listed and was oddly insistent they complete it)
with the building being shaken from the warlocks hands it exposed a secret hollow floor panelā¦
And then they find the real broken music box tucked insideā¦
The music box is sorta like a lil storybook needing the lil pieces arranged in a certain order for it to work.
Yn quickly figures out the basics on how to fix it. strange luckā¦
yn was just like āoh! perhaps it's like telling a story and the characters have to go in a certain order?ā
āThe king on his throne, the witch on her broom, and the prince tucked in his bed."
āOh that didnt workā¦must not be the right placement?ā
So then the 3 chat, laugh, argue all while trying to see what combo works. Eventually it's a mix of all of there ideas.
Moon placed the princess in the sea
Sun placed the warlock on the throne
And yn placed the prince lost, wandering spaceā¦
then the music box plays proper.
the 3 leave⦠still chatting and laughing as they head to tempbots portal
yn comments on wishing they had a music box of there ownā¦granted they have a special box at home but it plays more than music, and its much bigger⦠not as small n pretty as the fancy decorated music boxes here though.
sun suggests why not take one (bro is promoting stealing)
moon ofc is against the idea of stealing oneā¦at least from this placeā¦theyāve already made a mess of it enough.
then later that night
moon and sun get strange messagesā¦some strange blue colored envelopes appear, they have a magical digital like pattern to them.
recover memory??? Yes or noā¦
but it automatically was selected yes for themā¦
next thing the two know they are blacking out into a deep sleep.
Moons ādreamā code vision thing is
sorta a fairytale book.
its a story of a little stardust prince and a young jelly fish witch having funā¦but they could only play when the neighboring planetās (the jellyfish witchs home) tied was at a certain level so the lil witch could hop planetsā¦
the prince proposed maybe making a bubble to stay longerā¦
The jellyfish wanted to, but was too scared the bubble would pop and they would get lost in space.
But the prince promised that even if that did happen he would be there to catch them and promise to keep them safeā¦
And Visa versa
the little jellyfish witch promised If he wanted to travel and see them on a floating shooting star she would use her ocean magic to help catch him and soften his landingā¦
āThey promised to look out for eachotherā¦ā
the story endsā¦
a final message is left
āI'm sorry I couldnt keep you safe from my monsterā
then a fuzzy scene appears of two hands side by side in a field of flowers
Then suns ādreamā
Is a similar storybook fairytale thingā¦
its a story of a lil prince who was afraid to grow up and claim his throneā¦instead he wanted to keep playing with his friends and stay going on adventuresā¦so he wished on countless starsā¦till one day a entity from the dark of space answered his wishā¦
then the thing ends with some cryptic wordsss oohhhh~
āYou cant keep running, the past always catches up and eventually it will cost you everything.ā
āOne day the game of pretend will come to an endā¦and you'll have to face it, your monsterā¦your fearā
āfor you never kept your part of the deal.ā
āFrom prince to outlaw you still didnt give up you're crown despite saying how you hated feeling boundā
āSo what is it you truly want, oh little prince with heart made of stardust.ā
i have no clue if this would be in a 3rd or 4th chapter??? of the wip fic? cuz i also wanted to have a purely fun and silly time (no ominous lore foreshadowing) on the cat head planet tempjob (wich has a giant bathhouse on it, aka suns mention of a spa planet)
also the box of yns i was talking about briefly :)
