just finished obsession and wow it was so good

On another note though, meanwhile this probably wasn’t fully intended as a story commenting on attachment styles and/or BPD I absolutely felt slightly embarrassed/mortified watching this movie as well given I struggle with attachment styles. It was like watching the worst parts of myself and seeing it escalated into something appropriate for a horror movie.

Obsession is a good movie

Obsessed with Obsession (pun intended). I have a hard time watching movies because too often I’m restless, but this movie had me seated from beginning to the end and I barely registered the time. I don’t say this lightly when I say this has now become my favorite movie, alongside the Backrooms. Young directors popping up is godsent and it feels SO good to get something else than rehashed slop. Inde Navarette deserves all the awards for her performance. The way she could manipulate her expressions often made her look like a different person, which only adds to the story. So decided I wanted to practice painting these expressions! I loved this so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much!!! <3 <3 <3 xox
