Lesson #1: There is no such thing as miracles. It’s called HARD WORK. Lesson #2: Be NICE + APPRECIATIVE to the sample room. They will get shit done for you. Even at the 11th hour. Lesson #3: When Mercury’s in retrograde, expect anything & everything to go wrong. And in this case, get 3 snowstorms in a matter of a week. Delaying every single thing.

As I sit here, on this beautiful September day, in Bryant Park enjoying the sun, it just occurred to me that perhaps 2013 is inevitably my year. I've quit my dead end job, gone to España & Italia, started a new job, and will soon be moving into my own place - in the East Village/Union Square. Isn't that SOMETHING. There's just one more thing. But everything's falling into place & life is good.
