Figured it was about time to add my own contributions to the Y/N x DCA tag, so uh - here, have a quetzalcoatl-styled Sealed God Eclipse!!
Not sure if I'll actually end up developing a full-on AU with the guy or not, BUT i CAN share what I've actually come up with so far, which boils down to:
Y/N = archeologist equivalent in a fantasy world, and Eclipse is a god who was sealed away in some temple that their team accidentally stumbles across.
Y/N accidentally UNSEALS Eclipse somehow, which results in basically their entire team dying and Y/N, not wanting to die too, starts sucking up to the (probably unstable) god in a desperate attempt to not get their heart torn out or something.
This somehow results in Eclipse latching onto them as HIS mortal. No, they don't get a choice in the matter. They're his now, that's just how it works. And since they're his, that means that they WILL help him return to full strength, right?
So now Y/N has been claimed by a possessive, clingy god (REALLY possessive and REALLY clingy) that they have to help rebuild a following in this new day and age or get smote or something.
Also said god takes a liiiiiiitle too much pleasure in manhandling them. Can gods get touch-starved? They're pretty sure this one is because he just can't keep his hands off them.
Which is a problem for both the obvious reasons and because Y/N categorically hates that they get flustered every time he manhandles them. (Look, he's very pretty, and they're only human, okay? It's totally reasonable!)
If I do end up developing more of this idea I'll tag the posts as "Sealed God AU" or something, idk
ALSO, close-up below because I like his pretty face and it'd be a shame if all the detail got lost by Tumblr. Enjoy!
alien Moon's redesign
I've mentioned it in at least one ask answer, Moon has a little redesign. his silhouette is the same, there are just little changes to his teeth and obviously the big one, his arm and back. also slight change to his dark spot color.
and a drabble to go with it. been chipping away at both of these things as my warm-ups or un-winds before/after projects and commissions I'm working on.

Hi! It's me the blob! And i wanted to ask since it is Mermay, I know that the kraken Eclipse can only chew food with the mouth on his face and cannot swallow with it. Has he ever used it for storage for food to eat later? Or like a prison? If he has, have people tried to hurt him from the inside? Does he have scars in there? :(
And also does he have a tongue in the mouth on his face?
The mouth on his face is used for ripping apart food, vocalizations, and breathing on land, he could store food in there but he would need to be careful so he doesn’t choke. Doesn’t stop him from shoving Y/N in there for fun though
He has subtle scratches on the inside of his cheeks from feisty prey, but it doesn’t bother him — and yes, he has a tongue!! Both on his face (for “speech”) and beak (for the same reason octopuses do!! Further ripping apart food chunks and grinding them down)

The two of them (one of them? Two?) would sure be a strange mer...a dual faced fish mayhaps? Sounds like something to make a legend around. :D

Prologue chuckles a little as he reads this, hands clasped behind his back. Epilogue's clawed thumb strokes over Prologue's hand in a soothing motion. "We would be... One mer-creature." He says, amused by the thought of this. "I suppose we would be some dual-faced fish, yes. Being a mysterious legend in some sea would be fun, I think." He says wistfully, like he's thinking about the past. "Oh!" Prologue says as he realizes he got a bit too zoned out. "Courting gifts? My my, is this your way of asking us out?" he chuckles a little. Epilogue, on the other side, is grinning. Prologue continues to talk. "I think anything you would give us, dear heart, would be a good courting gift. Though I have a love for anything handcrafted," he says with a gentle smile. ( happy mermay!!! im glad u think hes fun to scroll through!!! :] )

ANYWAYS. This is NOT an AU nor do I plan on making it one; I've been in a depressive slump because of the state of my health and art has been a genuine struggle and one of the ways I cope with it is by drawing in the OFF sprite style; unfortunately i'm also extremely stupid and gave myself a cramp.
