US Medical Devices has Expanded Worldwide
With Obamacare making it increasingly difficult for US based companies to thrive or survive in many cases, medical device companies have been forced to look outside the US for ways to achieve the necessary growth and to compensate for the difficult, even hostile US environment.Â
Some of the emerging markets are outpacing the US in growth as device companies are breaking ground on new ways to penetrate those previously unattractive markets. India and China are the two largest markets with the greatest growth as those markets are still expanding and hospitals are being built in areas that previously didn't have them.
Dubai and Kuwait are other smaller markets with the resources to support the newer medical technologies that are being developed in the US. Public companies are driving this expansion because they must have sustained growth in order to deliver the kind of returns that their shareholders demand. Stock prices must increase, or the executives in these companies will be replaced.
We've taken our site global and merged meddevicejobs.co.uk with meddevicejobs.com because we see the medical device market as a global market, more than ever.
